Lovely new hotel. We use Holiday Inn Express often, and this is the nicest one we have stayed in. Furniture is beautiful and comfortable. Bed is perfect. Bathroom has large walk in shower and really nice lighting. We would definitely stay here again.

Double queen room was bigger than expected. Very clean and staff was friendly and courteous. Small dove products on bathroom sink (lotion & bar of soap) and they provide shampoo and conditioner that is attached in the shower . I have stayed at many hotels, and would rank this one as the best in free continental breakfast. They have so much to choose from and all name brand.

We visited this Holiday Inn Express for a family funeral. I came in town from Michigan. There was trash in the hallway when we checked in at 5pm on Friday; there was still trash in the hallway at 10pm that night, so I told the front desk and it was eventually removed. There was another large group there, and I wished there had been more staff there to keep the place clean. The main issue that I wanted to raise to management's attention is the accessibility of our room. This was apparently the accessible room, but I struggled to understand how it would be usable for someone in a wheelchair. The bed was very high and wouldn't have been accessible from a chair. The bathroom had a bath chair, but the faucet and temp controls weren't accessible from the chair. This room needs to be redesigned.

Comfortable beds though cleaning needs addressing. Breakfast staff are the real heroes here. Rooms: Good size, Comfortable beds. Needs dusting and vacuming in corners where kids get into. Bathrooms: Compact. Toilets and sinks were clean. Shower stall of adjacent room in my group was completely dirty, while tub in my room was mostly clean, however the shower curtains were gross . Would have been more bearable had the shower curtains with curved rods been installed the correct way to give more space. They were curving up instead of out, leaving the curtains short in the middle with a gap for water to flow out. Pool: Didn't use pool but appeared clean. Gym: Good enough set while travelling, but didn't use once I saw the state. Went in at 8 am to see entire container of gym wipes were emptied out into trashcan that was overflowing with brown stains on them. Front-Desk: Friendly. Buttons on phones weren't connected to front-desk/housekeeping/etc and we were never given any special instructions on how to contact them. Breakfast: Decent for what you're paying and appreciated the variety of hot items available including ready to make pancakes, bagels, eggs and a different meat protein each day. Coffee was actually decent too. What really stood out though is the kitchen attendant - Believe his name was Andrew. You can see he takes pride in his work and we saw him work meticulously to keep the tables clean and all breakfast items stocked up. The vigour with which he scrubbed syrup of the tables was very telling of his work ethic.
