Phone Had Been Out With No Way To Contact The VI.. We Were Later Than Usual Arriving Due To Unforeseen Circumstances. When We Arrived Even Though I Had Made Specific Handicap Reservations I Was Advised There Was ADA Rooms Available. When The Issue Was Finally Resolved And We Got Moved Into The Room For A 2 Day Stay We Were PLEASANTLY SURPRISED That The Rooms Were VERY CLEAN AND DELIGHTFUL SMELLING. We Have Stayed Here For DECADES. It Is Convenient For Our Stays When We Are Attending The OSU WEXNER Hospital. My Wife Is Fully Handicap For 35 Years And It Allows Her To Rest At The Room Comfortably While I'm At The OSU Hospital. She Has Also Had Multiple Appointments At Times Also Adding To The Convenience.. We Have Had Some Less Than Par Experiences Before. THIS Experience After Getting A Room Was THE BETTER Of Stays... Jay Was VERY HELPFUL And A GREAT ADDITION TO THE VARSITY INN. Being Employment Challenged Due To The Health Ailments The Price Is The Best We Can Afford For These Stays When Many Of Our Appointments Are EARLY MORNINGS. We Are Over 2 Hours Away.. Desk staff were great. Housekeeping kept beating my door down 2 hrs before checkout. The room had a nightlight I could not turn off and that was a problem since I need darkness to sleep.

It's a bit rundown but it felt clean. We stayed because my Mom was having a procedure done at the Ross Heart hospital. My husband mentioned that while checking in and we received a discount for our stay. Walking distance to restaurants and minutes from the hospital. We would stay again.

To be honest I was a little disappointed it looks a little different online. The room was decent . It was clean. The best thing about this hotel though in my opinion is the staff Sierra at the front desk was one of the most delightful. I arrived early and they got our room ready and let us check in early. We will stay again.
