I have been a patient here for over 13 years and loved this place until today. The Dr’s are great, but the scheduling staff has become increasingly impatient when trying to get answers to simple questions. Today I had the worst service experience of my life! I will not go into all the details, but let’s just say that the staff needs to be educated in listening skills and empathy. I checked in ahead of time on line and got stuck in traffic on the way to my appointment. I was 7 minutes late and then a question came up about the Covid policies. The receptionist didn’t listen effectively and instead turned the situation into a saga. So, then I got blamed for it taking to long to check in and was forced to reschedule. Now I am out of a medication and unable to get it prescribed until I come back in. This was just wrong! Any recommendations for Dr’s on the Westside of town?

The office made it hard to make an appointment and fill out paperwork for a new patient. I had an appointment this week following up from the Emergency Department. I have a very mad stomach ulcer with vomiting for a duration of two weeks now. my first appointment was rescheduled because a doctor called out. My next appointment was with Dr Huang. She did not take my pain level seriously and was very condescending. Maybe the TeleHealth appointments have made these people have zero empathy for new patients. I was prescribed an over the counter antacid. The ED told me to go to a primary and this primary told me to go back to the ED. I went to the emergency room three times and I still haven’t gotten any help of substance. I would not recommend this office to anyone who needs real help. Every experience I had with this office was unprofessional.

I had been going here since a teenager, and had three great doctors, all of whom have since left South Tabor. I was put with Megan Jeffords as my new primary. My first visit with her was horrible. She doesn’t care about her new patients. I have visible tattoos on my arms, and at the time I had colored hair. I believe these factors lead to her treating me poorly. She apologized after the fact saying that she was “just having a bad day.” I can’t recommend anyone seeing a doctor that will form judgements off of looks when she’s having a less than good day. Terrible bedside manner. The office staff are mean at this office too. Heidi in particular will snap at you on the phone and in person. I had a bad experience with a male nurse in this office as well. I had to have blood drawn at an appointment, and he told me after that I would handle giving birth well because my veins were easy to see. What the hell?! It was so uncomfortable. I was 21 at the time, and have no intentions of having children anytime soon. I wouldn’t advise any female patients being seen by the young male nurse with glasses. He left me feeling uncomfortable beyond words.

I brought my son to have his very first check up 2 years ago and immediately fell in love. Soon after I became a patient as well. It's very rare to find physicians who treat you with respect and who are willing to listen to you. The beauty of the practice having 12 physicians is that you are able to find the right provider for you! The hours are amazing, they have triage nurses and a doctor on call after business hours 7 days a week! If you're looking for a compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable practice who takes your health seriously then please don't pass this place up! They changed my life and taught me to value my health- mind body and soul.

Yes, they do. I'd ask when you make an appointment to be absolutely sure, but they've accepted it for me in the last two months with zero issues.
