The staff didn't really talk to us and the cashier was on his phone before we walked up. He was nice and all but overall people skills were slacking. As for the store itself it always seemed out of stock for everything but the expensive food. Out of rows of cat collars for instance. There was maybe, maybe 10 collars in total when they had picks for at least 50 different types

Purchased a bag of dog food online with repeat delivery. Had too much food on hand so didn't look at it for a while then just noticed it was expiring within a couple of weeks. Tried to return it and they said no because it was just passed the 30 days. Pretty terrible experience wasting $100. If you made an exception in this case for sending me old food - which is the right thing to do - I would continue to shop at your stores. Instead, you lost a customer for life.

We've been bringing our new pup for private lessons with Kelsi, and I cannot speak highly enough about how great she is. She meets you where you and your dog are at. Lessons like these are less about training your dog, and more about training you to train your dog. She explains it all so well. She's so patient, and personable, and accomodating of our shifting schedules. This is a person who loves her doggy students and her job. And the lessons she gives us are easy to take home, the dogs (we've been implementing the training we get with Kelsi for our young dog with our old lady dog at home) are immediately receptive. You're not going to get 100% compliance off the bat, but they pick it up quick! Train your dog. It'll make your life so much easier, it'll make your dogs life easier. And not for nothing, but I go to the dog park for an hour a day, and the amount of patience the regulars have for people and their pups who are clearly putting the work in, even if they're not perfect angels yet, and the ire directed at those who aren't, ought to serve as a little extra motivation, lest you find yourself persona non grata in your community. Train your dog. Go to Petco. Ask for Kelsi.

Killian who works at the grooming part of this location is awesome! Grooming can be pretty overwhelming, especially since my dog is still under a year old. Every single time I get Theodore back he's as calm, clean and happy as ever. He's groomed perfectly in his teddy bear cut and is absolutely adorable.

The vet services at Petco stores are provided by a separate organization called Vetco. I know the rabies vaccine runs $19, but I do not know if they issue CVIs. You could find out by calling them. 1-877-VET-SHOT

Can I buy a small fish here?

There are many types of fish at the store, like tetras, mollies, guppies and platy that only grow between 2-4 inches. Your tank setup would ultimately determine how many fish you can have, some do better in numbers but some are okay on their own. If you're only planning on one fish, a betta is a good choice since they stay small, prefer to be on their own and they're pretty forgiving for first-time fish owners.
