Really enjoyed this hotel overall. Clean, old and modern with a unique artsy vibe. Great staff at the Savoy and front desk. The one issue was with the a/c system that has controls to only run when you are in the room. This may work in climates that don’t experience 100 degree temps and high humidity. But that is exactly what happens in KC in July. Felt like our room never cooled down. Also seems like an easy fix on hot days- turn off the controls and turn on the A/C. One big inconvenience within an enjoyable stay!

I was visiting Kansas with my wife and 1 year old. I was so happy we booked this hotel. The curtains completely blacked out the light and it was so quiet. We had no issues getting the little one to sleep during the day. The staff was very friendly and every time we left or returned they greeted us. I used the fitness center which was stocked with water and towels. We only had one issue when checking in with the AC not working. We were moved rooms but it took about an hour to do so so. Other than this the rooms were clean, staff was friendly and hotel was in a nice safe area. If I'm traveling through again I'll be back.

My wife and I did a stay-cation at the 21c hotel and had dinner at the Savoy. Our waiter was amazingly professional, knew the menu and provided excellent service. The food was high end and we were absolutely impressed by the desserts! The hotel was also very cool. Front desk was very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We can't wait to go back

We stayed at the 21c Museum Hotel the second weekend in February 2022. We chose this hotel for the art, atmosphere, and the proximity to Knuckleheads Saloon, as we attended a concert that weekend as well. The staff at the hotel is approachable, accommodating and very helpful. When we arrived, we were taken care of very well by Jonathan. We also received a sweet, impromptu tour by Shelly. The rooms are what you would expect from this brand. We needed a refrigerator, so we called the front desk, and received one right away. The hospitality at this hotel is beyond their price point honestly. Some more expensive hotels could really learn a few things from them. They have some really great people working here. The hotel is in a great neighborhood with great food choices in walking distance. If you visit on the weekend, depending on what's going on, you can find free parking on the street. We will be back! Also, hopefully the penguins will come out of quarantine soon, but you can still take pictures with them where they stand. The hotel staff also said they will have a completely new exhibit in April. Very much looking forward to this.

If you believe that a place holds on to energy from its past, there is plenty of energy and history that this place has seen in its 135 years. My experiences of just working down there this past year and photos I have taken sure cause me to ask the same question.
Probably not anymore, but it use to be.
Watch the penguins though... They move every night. My wife got a kick out of it... Seriously. 4 ft penguins just showing up outside your room, in the restaurant, on the elevator, in the hallway. It was pretty great
There is a parking garage directly across the street from the hotel. I believe it was $10 a day.
It's a cool bar. Dark inside. Food is pretty good.
It is 5 miles away. About a 10 minute drive.
7am onwards
They aren't fully open yet, just the grille and I don't believe 100% to the public
No, it is still being remodeled. Should be open in about 45 days
