Great location and plenty of parking. The room itself had everything we needed. Can’t complain about that! It was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was not welcoming at all upon arrival. It would have been nice to be greeted a little kinder. There was a dog on our floor that barked/cried all day and night and woke us up multiple times throughout the night.

This is my second stay here, and I would call this a struggling hotel. It is in need of a refresh despite the modern styling. It seems some materials in the room just wear out too quickly which is a shame. I do like the style of the room and hotel overall, the rooms feel more open than their size would imply. Some items are more irritating than anything. A $12 drink at the bar that... Okay, bad choice on my part, but still. The business center couldn't print and the outsourced support never picked up the phone... HOWEVER, the lovely young lady at the front desk didn't hesitate and had me email her the file to print, and anything else I needed. That's Marriott service. $17 to park in a lot where the lines are so close together I feared a ding in the door... Which I am fairly certain was what I got. $15 for a European-style breakfast (which means cold cuts and cheese, basically) was frustrating but... Whatever. Not to be overly entitled here, but I hope it was at least included for Platinum/Titanium members like myself (I have not yet seen the bill.) The location is a challenge. Rooms do not reject sound well, but any time you have someone driving in a neighborhood like this at midnight with a 100+db system in their car... It will rattle windows. It was not a huge issue, but unfortunate. My only other gripe is something I could have solved myself which is that there was no conditioner in the shower. I have never not been able to get that from a Marriott property when asked and my stay was too short to bother. Like I said, minor issue. In all... This is a good mid-budget hotel and fit my basic expectations but I think some simple improvements would go a long way to better living up to the brand.

Overall, the hotel and room are decorated nicely and are pretty clean. However, we will not stay here again. The shower water pressure is almost nonexistent. I didn’t realize this until late our first night. We were exhausted, so I decided we could rough it for a couple nights. Then, on our second and final night, there was ZERO hot water. That’s just ridiculous. We are staying on the third floor. Maybe that is the where the issue exists.

Based on all other aspects of this hotel, this place would get a 5 star rating. Nice hotel room, staff, and location! This place is proximal to many restaurants and bars, which is great! Very easy to get where you need to go. Three bad remarks: 1) If you are a person who likes to shower to begin your day (like me), good luck getting hot water before noon. We have been here for two days, and I haven’t been able to take a shower with any sort of warm water (not even lukewarm; I’m talking frigid cold) before noon. In the afternoon and night, the hot water is almost instant, but I’ve had the shower running for 20 minutes this AM, not a drop of any warm has come out. (As I write this review, taking another 10 minutes… still no hot water.) 2) On our arrival, the floor was not clean. Walked in and it appeared the floor has not been swept or mopped for a bit. 3) You will be charged $10 per day to park in the hotel’s parking lot. The lot is tighter as you are in a very urban setting, however the entrance to the hotel itself in relation to where you can park after 8PM is a little far. There is a back door, but it says no lobby access, so we haven’t really checked it out. Edit to add: The hotel refunded an acceptable amount of currency for the inconvenience we dealt with each day. 1 star was added to make this a 4 star review. Thank you Marriott for making this right!
