Not my favorite experience but their gym and ice coffee is amazing. Staff is very very friendly but guess I forgot about how this weird motel residence inn works, no little pamphlets with information so tried to call the front desk and ask what the breakfast hours are, how to get to where breakfast is, where’s the gym, is there dinner etc but phone line was dead. Walked up to the front and was told a work order would be put in but, I didn’t get a timetable for that (today, tomorrow etc). Oh well I never use that phone anyways. Room feels like a motel, I have an outward facing door to the outside and one that is inside of a stairwell. Not handicap or luggage accessible, you have to carry your luggage up some flight of stairs no matter what. Hope grandma has no issue with her 50lb roller bag. Not sure if that's what people consider an upgrade lol. Room smells wet like a cardboard box left to simultaneously soak and dry in front of the Statue of Liberty. Room is okay, it’s a basic layout. Had some random blackouts but that’s okay, I’m just unlucky and that didn’t bother me. Closet won’t close because the track is bent and when I did try to close it (purely OCD) the door jumped off the rail and pinned my hand against the wall. Whoops should have left it at that. Parking is fine, small garage that I swear can only hold 24 cars. There’s some lot out back I have yet to figure out. Oh and my first morning there the breakfast guy didn’t show up, glad front desk person came up and told us but, that was after 20 minutes of waiting. It’s 2022 it’s normal for people to not show up for work but yeah. Not their fault but, I'm kind of here for work so that stuff matters. If it was a long term hey my house burnt down I can wait an extra hour for food I wouldn't mind. If you’re doing this cheap long term totally. For two weeks for work I'm not sure. I do ABSOLUTELY love their gym it’s huge and fantastic and that was almost enough to make me stay.

Front desk attendant wasn't the friendliest but I'm not there to make friends. Nice hotel. I liked how there was 1 entrance to 6 rooms and front and back entrance for second floor rooms. Made it so that not many people had to pass my door and excite my fur babies. Very spacious suite. Had all of the benefits of an apartment. Unfortunately there was construction going on during my stay but that's outside of their control and really only made parking access challenging. Will be staying here again.

The location is great the free parking is awesome rooms are a little old. Front desk staff is extremely unhelpful and argumentative. Had conversations with staff on phone before booking rooms to make sure we had what we needed from this location. Once we got there and discussed it with them all they had to say to us was "that's interesting". Pretty useless. They also felt the need two lecturers on how to use a gift card after once again we had asked for how to use the gift card over the phone before arriving at the location and were given instructions on how to proceed. We knew we'd be in for an argument even before arriving at the front desk due to the previous engagements with them. On the other hand the staff that runs the morning breakfast we're outstanding super friendly always said good morning and seemed happy to be there.

I had a good experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and the free breakfast was above par. Parking was not the greatest, but a lot of the issue had to do with major new construction right next to the hotel. I would definitely use this hotel again.
