Very beautiful here-incredible old growth forest. Picnic tables, nice trails, and clean restrooms- no state park fee for those without passes IF you just stop for the restrooms (15 minute limit). Would love to camp here; visited during a day trip.

THIS PLACE IS NOTHING SHORT OF MAGICAL. A great hour walk - two if you let yourself go spacey and take it all it. Some trees there are dated 1660! Every type of forest growth you can imagine is there. I felt like I was in a movie about magical forests. The sun shining through the trees and long hanging boss didn't hurt either. I don't want to tell anyone about it, because I had the most peaceful time to myself. :-) Still you deserve to know. I played Gregorian chants while experiencing Rockport State Park trail. Transformational!

Gem of a park that’s right off the road. We did the Evergreen Trail and it was a bit more intensive than we were expecting but nothing too severe. Trail is well maintained but watch your footing in a few places for some roots that want to trip you. Bathrooms were open but we didn’t go in, there was a water pipe to fill water bottles and some trash cans. The camping here is permanently closed for safety reason which is a shame because it would be beautiful grounds to camp on.

The trails were well maintained for all the rain we get around here. We had a great time for our first hike of the year. Other people were enjoying the sunny day at the State Park too.

There is nothing and/or no one stopping you from walking in. I was at rockport park the other day and did not see any park officials.
Multi trails shorter than 1cmile and a 5 mile trail. 3 very easy one is wheelchair accessible. My favorites are the 2 across the street from the State park. They are part of the State park. Carefully crossing HWY 20. Hope you love it as much as we do.
There is a trail system in the park. To park within the park itself you'll need to pay at a provided kiosk. There is no nearby parking on Hwy 20 available . https://parks.state.wa.us/574/Rockport
