Love to enjoy this place; watching and listening to the tides as they rise and fall, watching the serious surfers and air surfing as they enjoy the waves, catching ships,tugs, and fishing boats come in and out of the harbor, taking a soothing walk on the beach, making use of one of the many driftwood logs that are now seats and shelters for beach visitors, and simply taking in all the wonderful things that are happen when the rivers edge meets the ocean at this lovely location called Westport Beach.

one of the many beautifulstate parks we visited during a trip in February. accessible from Westport, Westport light State Park offers an easy path to the beach. Discover Pass required unless it's a 15 min stop.

This home was beautiful inside and out! We had 7 of us ladies stay, and we all had enough space to spread out, and enjoy ourselves comfortably. This home has two living rooms. The main living room has a big screen TV, plenty of seating, and they have a large family room with a 70"big screen TV, huge sectional couch, built-in nook with bench and table for playing games or to eat, there is a Murphy bed as well. They have a large kitchen, everything you need to cook with large counter spaces, the corner part of the counter has an area with wine glasses. This home has two bedrooms downstairs, each having one bed each, and there is an upstairs with 2 twin beds and a futon. They have two bathrooms, one with a bath tub. They have a nice size lot in the front, and the backyard has an endless view of the ocean, it is beautiful. I, highly recommend bringing extra blankets and and seasonings too. Oh ya! hot tub ;) <3

We visited today with our 2 year old and niece and nephew (8 and 3). You can park in front of the lighthouse and along the road. If you park in the parking lot you need a Discover Pass and there is a pay station. The restroom is located next to the parking lot. All areas were neat and clean. The Google maps version and other internet sites have conflicting information regarding hours, fees, and other restrictions so do your homework. Kids 5 and under cannot ascend the lighthouse. We had a lot of fun on the beach and all the kids played for hours. Little trails and directions are not given so if you are directionally challenged stick to asphalt. The park is adjacent to Coast Guard lands and you are not allowed there and it is a surprise when you stumble upon it and need to double back because you cannot continue on that path. Wheelchairs would not be able to access the lighthouse but can navigate the grounds and asphalt walkways. We did not fully explore so I am not sure if there is easy beach access for those with mobility concerns. We had to walk down a path and climb over some driftwood to get to the beach (carried the 2 year old and the other two walked it).
