Pretty new to the area and have been searching for remote trails for the weekends. This one, like many, discovery pass required and no dogs, even though there is a picture of one on the trail lol Looks like the two lower trails are closed for rehabilitation. Uphill trail is open, would advise shoes with good traction.

It's a beautiful set of trails. I would have given it 5 stars but there are no dogs allowed. Not even leashed. That's not cool. So... there's that.

Love it here with my little guy. Little icy if you go to the trail on the left, but the trail is more walkable if you go on the trail to the right.

This is one of my favorite places to paddle. I like to get a good work out and start and the take out and paddle upriver till the put in. Makes the paddle/float that much more rewarding! We saw a moose, buck, river otters, blue heron, muskrats, and TONS of ducks. It's beautiful. 6.7 miles long and takes about 4 hours to go down if you're not fishing. No dogs are allowed.

That's why dogs aren't allowed. Herons nest on the river banks and dogs would disrupt them and possibly cause them to find safer areas. I wish more areas would limit dogs or enforce the rules, I'm tired of seeing pick up bags on the side of the trails. Disgusting!
