Booked through hotwire last minute. Staff was great the whole time we were there. Problem was the place itself. In our room the tub backed up so fast you ended up standing in ankle deep water. Let the person at the front desk know as we left for the morning and was told it will be fixed. That evening it shower was the same. There was dirt and cobwebs in the room. The carpet was coming up from the edges right outside the elevator door enough to trip over and really bad repairs to visible damage. For the price point and the claim of 4 stars the building does not come close. This was my first time at a Kimpton and will be my last. There are plenty of other hotels all around this so I am sure I can find something more worth my money.

Beautiful room with lovely decor and a firm comfortable bed. The staff were wonderful and location A+. Haven't enjoyed a hotel as much as this in a long time. Will come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kimpton Vintage! It was very well maintained for a very good price. They definitely are great for a younger crowd - unlimited wine hour was so busy and looked like it would have been a great time! (We we’re five minutes late which was a huge bummer) The $20 resort fee gets you tons of perks, like the wine hour and money to spend at the bodega. Their attached restaurant, Tulio, is super convenient and was absolutely delicious!

The lobby is very cozy. Coffee was good. We were able to buy a bottle of wine at the front desk which was very nice. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room and bathroom felt clean. We ordered dinner at Tulio on our first night and the meal was very yummy. However, there was no microwave in our room and the room felt a little small for 3 people. Overall, we very much enjoyed the hotel and it's location!

I was there with 3 kids, 8-16. We walked from the train station to the hotel. In the hotel for 3 nights. Walked / took public transportation everywhere. Never a problem, never felt unsafe.
