Austin’s Field Trips
I rarely actually do reviews. I have to for this apartment complex. My husband and I had to relocate to Albuquerque from Portland in just a week. I was terrified. I had to look at apartments online , I didn’t know anything about the area . What was I thinking ? But thankfully I Found Summer. Summer ( pleasing management ) has went beyond her responsibilities to make sure my transition was as smooth as possible. The one thing that she did for me that I knew she was going to take care of us, when we got to the apartment it had carpet, we both were under the impression it had vinyl, and I have dogs . I got here on Monday 7/25 and 7/26 she had someone here replacing the carpet with vinyl. Villa La Charles is my home, and I am extremely happy to be apart of this community.

So far I’m loving it. Much more roomy than my pricey 470 square foot apartment I was renting in Colorado. Apartment felt and smelled clean when I moved in. Had no idea what I was moving into, due to quick spur of the moment kind of move for a job opportunity. The website wasn’t all that helpful in showing what the models actually look like with the renovations so I wanted to get some photos posted of what a one bedroom unit looks like as of August 2021. My only real complaint living here would be the office will sometimes be closed (without notice) when I need to swing by and speak to someone. Other than that the office and maintenance are helpful. Neighbors are pretty good for the most part. Sometimes they’ll be rowdy groups at the pool at 2 am in the summer. Really wish they’d get more cameras and enforce their policies better.

From the time I applied for a lease with Villa La Charles over a year ago, I have always had the pleasure of working with Summer Lucero. She has consistently worked with me to start a lease, renew a lease, resolve issues, questions, maintenance problems, etc. She is fast to respond, super friendly, and reliable in helping with things I need. I just wanted to say thank you for the professional and friendly staff you have to make the living environment a positive one.

I moved in a few days ago and to start, Summer with the leasing office has been nothing but helpful. I called a few times with minor questions prior to move in and she was very nice every single time, which did not change once I moved in and had trouble with a couple things. So customer service - 5 stars so far! The 4 stars is simply because overall there are a few things about the apartment that I think should have been done prior to move in. Example: the laundry area (see picture in a previous review for reference) great space. But my unit has not shelving so I had to go buy shelves to install because there isn’t a lot of available storage. Overall, the apartment so far is perfect for me, I am in a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, upstairs unit. It’s a quiet area, I feel safe coming and going. I am really happy here and hope it stays like this.
