Fresh veggies...mmmmm. Tender tasty chicken, the best baked potato in town and marvelous service.

Just returned home from one of the saddest restaurant experiences we have had in many years. We chose to sit at the bar as there were just the two of us. There were three young gals working the bar, all their first names begin with K. No smiles, very little engagement, not sure about how they have been trained to pour beer because I have been a bartender for over 10 years and I would have been fired for the amount of beer they put down the drain in foam! We ordered steak and salmon. The steak was ordered as well done not burned. The salmon was ordered with vegetables. The steak came very bloody with soggy looking day old fries, and the vegetables were broccoli with carrots. The carrots were likely just defrosted and placed in a bowl, so hard I couldn't get a fork in them. The steak was sent back and returned to us as a black mass with burn flakes brushed off with a fork. When this was brought to the woman's attention (I think she was a manager but it is hard to know since she didn't offer an apology or her name/position at the restaurant.) she said, "Oh, don't you want it then?" Really what business management training provides that as a way to keep customers? When one of the bartenders took my glass for a refill of iced tea she had a glass from another customer in her hand. She proceeded to fill my tea glass while it was touching the side of the other woman's glass. Followed this with filling the other woman's glass of something. Why would I want to drink any more tea? I don't know the woman and I really don't want to drink her germs also. Again, what training do these people get? In the past we have visited this Texas Roadhouse multiple times in a month. The last time we were there we saw the manager who is a very helpful gentleman who circulates and interacts with customers. Where was this woman tonight?? We will not be returning nor will we offer any good recommendations to our family and friends. This was so far from acceptable. Yes, they took the cost of the steak off our bill, but the bartender said "oh" when she asked me if I wanted the vegetables as she was clearing our plates. The number of restaurants having challenges hiring people is a struggle I am aware of, but the customer service is the breaking point. We totally understand if service takes a bit longer but when the workers blatantly disregard your concerns and food issues, why would we return? Good luck to them. :(

Had a bone in ribeye with my dad and brother, steak was cooked like I wanted it(medium) but it looked better then it tasted. I would rather cook for myself/ family personally, But the atmosphere and my waiter made the time enjoyable.

It was my very first experience here at Texas Roadhouse and I was very pleased with it. Had some wonderful drinks and the food was mouth watering. And don't get me started on the rolls. I will definitely be coming back

2 main reasons. They have locations in different areas and prices are different for each because of operating costs and income levels of consumers. printing one menu for all locations is cheaper then to customize for each. And Demand. Majority don't pay attention to drink prices probably because menus have always been like that. Creating flexibility to change the prices on drink menus so they don't have to change prices on food menus because of fluctuating food commodities.
That would be great to have one over on the East side
They require you to where a mask in and when you are not in your seat. When using call-ahead seating, you have to wait in your car until they text you to come in. The tables are social distanced and have plastic dividers.
TexasRoadhouse. Com It says free lunch 11-4 for veterans and active military 🙂
The terms of the Birthday Special has been the same for quite some time. I don't think it has changed for years and you are saying "EVERYTIME you try to redeem it, you have issues getting it". So once a year for however many birthdays you have went there, you should know the terms by know and or look at the other info on the paper. Remember, they serve food, they don't read to you or teach you to read. I never had any serious issues at this location and If anything needed corrected, there is a correct way of going about it and it would be fixed right to the satisfaction you deserve. It's a free birthday appetizer if you are dining there. Some people live to shop for "free" things and others enjoy them when they arise. I dont search for Free items for specials. Thanks
