We booked a two night stay as we were in Tucson as my mother-in-law is in the hospital. We booked our reservation through hotels com. We checked in on 04/01/2022. We were exhausted when we first checked in and the room had, cigarette Burns in the comforter and sheets, old food containers in the microwave from the previous occupants I am assuming, hair all over the toilet, and signs of bed bugs on the mattress, Hotels com asked us via email to rate the check-in and that if there were any problems they would forward it to management so we let them know about all these things. We were exhausted from going back and forth to the hospital so we just stayed. The next day we went to the hospital and when we came back to our room later that day we were locked out, I went to the front desk and let them know and the lady their stated of course you are locked out and that they would not let us back into our room unless we deleted the review about the condition of the room, I told them I would not do that and that I still had stuff in the room so they escorted us to the room to get our stuff, while there we showed them the mattress where there was evidence of bed bugs and the old food in the microwave, she stated she did not care. When I asked for refund at least stated if I needed to talk to hotels.com because that is where I booked through and that they could not authorize a refund, so I called them and told them what happened and they said they needed to check with the hotel staff which they did and they stated that the front desk lady was rude and irate but did not authorize a refund so we could not get our money back. So now I asked hotels.com to elevate this to a supervisor which they stated will not be in until Monday so I will have to wait and see if I get a refund. The place is affordable we were going to risk getting bed bugs rude staff and possibly getting kicked out for giving an honest report of the room condition. I recommend that you take this review into consideration and consider not staying here and avoid getting scammed.

Worst! I reserved two room which have queen bed by internet and got the reservation confirm. But when I arrived there, they said they have only one queen bed room and one double bed room. And they required more expensive money(160$ for a queen bed room and 175$ for double bed room) than I reserved(116$ for a queen bed room). I couldn't understand how it could happen! This is the worst time in my journey!!

I only stayed here since it would only be for the night and was cheap but the bathroom was disgusting. There was soooo much body hair, I refused to bathe in that shower. The beds were squeaky anytime you say on it you sprang up immediately from the actual springs in the mattress. Didn’t know they made them like that anymore. I honestly had questioned the cleanliness of the room that I didn’t even bother to bring in my bag with my clothes. Only upside is the price and that it’s fairly close to the downtown university area.

I think what you should do is book your reservation through a travel website instead of directly with the motel. Go through Orbitz, Travelocity, TripAdvisor, Trivago, etc. I think you'll have better luck that way, because you can compare rates for the same hotel, and choose the rate that is best for the time that you plan to stay.
We didn't encounter that.
No!
