Our son came close to dieing there. We told the nurse you must call 911 now. He was severely dehydrated. As soon as he got to emergency he lost consciousness. The doctor in emergency saved his life by getting fluid into both of his arms at once. If we had not checked in with our son that morning, I think he would have died.

This facility is very well run and you can tell that they really care about their residents. The administration and staff are knowledgeable and super helpful and the place is nice and clean.

I walked in a couple times to visit a family member , and I was very disappointed the way the place was treating the Housekeepers there . Cnas , nurses , kitchen, therapy , the administrator lady name heather , the DNS lady, etc need to start being nice to those housekeepers and laundry workers . The housekeepers and Laundry workers work there Butts off none stop , I appreciate them a lot and if I could bring in snacks for just the housekeepers and laundry workers I would . Start treating housekeeping and Laundry right . They where the only ones who actually took really good care of my family member when my family member was staying at Avalon. They are the back bones . Give them respect . I will not bring my family member back to Avalon, only would for the Housekeepers and Landry workers . Thank you EVS for being so kind for my family member I appreciate you guys and hope y’all know at least a customer was really happy with you guys and knows you guys are worth it . P.s I am giving one star to the place because of The way the other departments acted . I would give the Housekeepers and laundry workers 10 stars if I could.

I just wanted to thank you so very much for the efficient, immediate,and caring way you handled the admission of my mother to the Avalon Center in Federal Way. You should be particularly proud of your staff there, especially Ebony, the receptionist, Heather, who served as mom's social worker/case manager, and Jonathan, one of the administrative staff. He was so down to earth and patient and helpful! Trust me, I will be touting your facility to anybody who will listen. It is clean, safe, and the staff genuinely cares and takes time with the residents even though they have a lot to accomplish due to being short-handed. Once again, thank you thank you thank you for alleviating my stress and for helping my mother.
