This is going to be a long and comprehensive review. 1. The apartment itself. - The apartment was a great starter place. The floors were a beautiful vinyl style. The appliances were all relatively new and worked well. Stainless steel in the kitchen and almost brand new washer and dryer. The counters in the kitchen weren’t my favorite but they did the job. They were a laminate style counter with car paint as a decorative touch. I heard that from the maintenance man, Aaron. The bathroom was small but I never had any issues with it. The bedroom was large enough for a queen size bed and two night end tables with no issues. A dresser and book shelf also fit very nicely. The closet doors however sometimes would fall off of the tracks. But that was a simple and easy fix. The living room was long and narrow so the way that I had to set it up was strange. One side had a sliding glass door, and other other side had a mantle with a fireplace. I didn’t want my couch or tv to be along the window side or the side with the fireplace so I had to set up my couch the long way, and I ended up sitting super close to the TV in term. For a long time I dealt with mold issues, everywhere. Mold on the walls. Mold on the base boards. Mold everywhere on the exterior walls. For a while the maintenance men kept blaming it on my fish tanks. But later it was found out that the wood on the outside of my apartment was getting too wet due to the low leveled foundation. So a large French drain was built outside of my apartment to reduce the standing water that was seeping into my house. 2. Service, Community, and Parking - I had a few things break while living there for a year, I’m not too surprised. But Aaron, the maintenance man in charge of apartment maintenance, was always timely and kind. The community in this place is horrible. I mean it’s Everett. Drug dogs and cop cars were seen for months on end every week. My car was keyed. My boyfriends car had rubber glue smeared all over the two side panels and windows. When I mentioned it to the office, they told me that they “refuse to put up security cameras because they won’t be liable for anything that happens in the buildings or parking lots.” Multiple cars were keyed, I counted more than 6. Random people would dig through and hang out by the dumpsters all day and night. Children would run around at all times of the day. Like 15 children all together. The children were not an issue. But the incessant trash they left behind really got on my nerves. I’d go to walk to grab my mail and I’d see trash everywhere. Candy trash. Toys left on the sidewalk. Not to mention a group of red headed boys who tried to ding ding ditch and leave a bag of trash on my front step. I asked them nicely to not do that and they pointed fingers at me and followed me for weeks. They’d see my leave my apartment and would just stare at me. They were like 8-12. That really creeped me out. Parking was a nightmare if you worked past 3pm. I eventually ended up buying a parking pass for $35 a month. Parking was terrible though. I lived in a smaller building so the bigger buildings parking always flooded into my parking area which was annoying especially at night when I get off of working a 9hr shift and there was no parking unless I wanted to park down the street. But once I got the parking pass it helped. 3. All in all - This was a great starter apartment. The apartment itself felt safe and was cozy for an 18 year old who just moved out. Once outside though, it felt less safe. I even put up my own security cameras. The only neighbor who was ever nice to me was the lady across the way. Her cute cats in the window were never bad either. The I hated the parking and a lot of other things about the community which is why I decided to move out a month early (after paying out my left over rent). The last few months there really made me sad. I started to feel so unsafe and I just felt like the managers didn’t want anything to do with my safety concerns.

I lived here along with my roommates for about 2 years. I love the fact it was conveniently close to my job. A 5 minute walk. The office is beautiful. I love the rustic furniture from Restoration Hardware. I appreciate the cute mini Gym and the fact it’s near gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants. My feedback for improvement is that I hope they come with a better service for maintenance. The crew we have coming over to fix any issues were very nice. But I feel like the apartment complex limits them from doing better service. Such as tools or resources. I don’t know if it’s a budget issue. I did not enjoy the leak on the ceiling. Both leaks were in the kitchen and the master bathroom. What put me off was the noises at night. And the fact the walls are so thin. I promise you me and roommates would hardly make a noise and still get a complaint. Numerous times I’ve picked up cigarette buds that weren’t even ours. My roommates are very OCD. Hence they always try to stay on top of the apartment. Another thing is random fees that we would be charged with. And there wasn’t even a notification ahead of time. And the parking was ridiculous. The staff is decent, I will admit to that. There could be better potential for this apartment. I have high hopes that they could build more on improvement and be open to more suggestions by the residence living there.

Poorly managed to say the least. When GreyStar managed the complex it was a much better and more enjoyable place to live. Now that the new management (Sage) took over, the parking situation has become an absolute nightmare. Cars with no passes to park in the complex are taking up all the spots, and far too many reserved spots. There is also a huge lack in communication between how much you owe for rent at the 1st of the month. The staff is rather rude and one in particular believes that the management can enter an apartment without 24 hour prior notice for repairs and inspection. Would not recommend living here.

By FAR the worst place I lived so far!! Their management lies to you, they never take care of anything they say they're going to. If you have a vehicle parked in your paid for spot, they never have it towed. We have had cars parked in our spot for days on end and they do nothing. The security they have does nothing as well. It's dirty, you would wonder if they have anybody cleaning their lot. The play ground is constantly a mess because there are no enforced rules about parents being with their children. Their maintenance crew does nothing but drive around the parking lot. They do not enforce any of their "rules", and if you try making a complaint about something, just don't because it will not be addressed. The tenants don't even care about the complex or the rules! Having parties until all hours of the night, and parking cars behind other cars because there is no free parking. It's a joke! Over all, just avoid this place if at all possible. It's over priced and not worth it. If I had a choice I would live elsewhere. And it's sad because the staff is actually very nice, the people are nice. That's about it.
