My experience at this place is the worst…I went around 2:30 pm the old guy next to me got his food right away they didn’t even approach my car and talked to me so I talked to a lady and she asked what I need I said I’m here to get food and she said just stay inside your car and wait it’s already 4:30 and no one still came buy to give me food…they didn’t even tell me that they will leave already…everybody left and leave me still waiting inside my car…it’s the worst experience ever…so rude people….

One of the best food banks around you know what you're dropping in your trunk but you know it's always good might be two boxes might be four It's all good Thankyou for great service AND GOD.BLESS TO ALL

Love the place but hate the new volunteer that dealt with the meat yesterday, Wednesday, July 31st! He was rude and racist they assume that people people come to food banks because they are dumb! Even the lady at the freezer with 1 leg is rude assumed that everyone is there to steal! “The mission of Nourish is to provide nutritious food and support services to people in need with compassion, dignity and respect.”yeah right! You guys need to change some of your volunteers, and please stop taking all the good food home and helping yourselves to the good stuff, giving out garbage to the people!

It's a shame if any of you have been made to feel guilty for needing help I've never been treated badly there. If you have, you should report it to the person in charge.. I've volunteered there, a lot has changed since then.. no one should feel shamed for needing help. Please report it to someone. They may be unaware. That person will be dealt with accordingly.
Some of the volunteers come in early and work for 4 hours so they shop before they leave. I know that most of the volunteers are not paid for there time, the only paid employees are the Manager and his Second in command. That is true the SE NORICH FOOD BANK. (Tacoma) (85th and Portland)
Yes they always need volunteers I'm sure there's a small criteria for this bring your ID there is Perks and helping we the people enjoy people like you thank you for your time and your talents
Unknown but I know they are open on Tuesday at the Lutheran church on 84th and Portland ave
Should be able to. Just need to register each head of household.
Check out the calendar on nourish food banks website they have multiple locations monday through saturday in pierce county. No appointments are necessary.
You can only get food on Monday 11:00-4:00 Wednesday 11:00-6:00 Friday 11:00-4:00
You can visit once (1) a week. You don't always have to come in the day every week. We prefer that you do but we know you always can't, so come when you can.
I work as the client intake person at the desk ID is not required but suggest

Yes if they have them. You have to ask for them before you go out side to the fruits, veggies & extras.

We can and will accept clean and non broken dishes. We don't have many dishes that come in and if they do they go out the same day we put them out.
