Just want to share my living experience at Sherman Village. I lived there 2 yrs and for the most of that my electric bill was at or around 300.00 a month no matter how much I spared my usage on electric. Then they raise my rent due too over usage of water throughout the community, and then if you make any complaints they send you a letter saying they will no longer honor your lease and give ya 60 days to move lol. Anyways I had a mean drunk for a neighbor but because he had lived there 2 more years than I had, he had free reign to have his domestic fights with his woman inside and outside. There were times it sounded like they were coming thru the walls, but when I complained nothing happened but finally I recieved one of those 60 day notices. It was all good as I already planned to move in the spring of 2019. But to make a long story short, Sherman village is not a safe place to raise children as the drug addicts and drunks run the place. Anyways I just recently looked my ex neighbor up on an arrest tool I have and he has an F6 felony and oh my Sherman Village has just filed an eviction notice on him for non payment of rent, imagine that!!! Again this place has stated that they are not responsible for what happens there or for the safety of their residence. So you might want to consider your options a bit more. I have learned through this whole ordeal that if a place is privately owned then you have no leg to stand on and Sherman village is privately owned. So good luck to whoever decides to make Sherman village their home!!!

Nutnfancy! Gets the job done but be prepared to freeze in the winter and sweat in the summer! Very dated apartments, but dont expect any renovations as the owner will not put any money other than necessary to keep the property alive! This place has been on life support for a couple of decades at least! As of this review i pay $720 month for a 3bed townhouse. It is a constant struggle to fight for a place to park as most homes have no parking out in front of your home. The manager is off site so any decisions rarely, if ever happen. I cant even pay my rent @ the front office, it has to be sent to a office in braod ripple. Whilst speaking of this matter of rent monies paid, i recieved a letter posted on my door that stated that my rent check had not been recieved. I called the main office in broad ripple to speak with the person in charge and was advised that my rent check had not been recieved ( in reality my check had posted 17 days before, according to my financial institution). I advised said manager that my check had cleared the bank and was told that they need to look on there end and will call back within the hour.... Well 2.5 hrs passed so i called back and the Mgr. Says" oh yeah i found it, forgot to post paid to your account"! Not even a"I'm sorry". I know that if i hadn't called back i'd still be wondering if they had properly credited my account SMDH.
