We dropped off a pug that showed up at our house. I wish we could have kept him but we have 3 dogs and 2 cats already. Plus he was older and needed to be on meds for the rest of his life. They are known for having Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome along with other health issues. I hope that they find him a good home. He showed up on a Friday so we had him the whole weekend. We live south of the base (Ft. LeonardWood), and been told that some people dump their pets down here when they move. Pretty sad. The young ladies who work there seem awesome and fell in love with him. I'm sure that they'll find him a good home.

They were helpful, friendly and informative about all the dogs!! They want to actually bonnd with the dogs before adopting. Which is awesome!! Looking to adopt real soon, just waiting on the dog supplies to get in! :3

Sorry, no free dogs from the Waynesville Shelter. Adoption fee is 65.- Dollars. This fee includes the spaying / neutering & the first set of shots and the Rabies shot for 1 year. This is a pretty good deal !
