My recycling hasn’t been picked up the last two weeks gave up sitting on hold hearing repeated message about excellent service.

Because I'm a Waterford resident my calls are referred to their website, which tells me it's for Waterford residents only then telling me to call the Phone # ... I call the phone # ,they tell me I have to use their website.... if this is how their service is Waterford Official's made a big mistake choosing them for our Trash hauling service !!!! Well ,after 15 minutes on hold ,I finally spoke to a Human ... so much for that ... I was told I need to sign up for new service on the Website ....ughhhhh ,after explaining my situation again ,I was told "a representative will call you tomorrow and set you up with service " Bwahahaha...guess tomorrow never comes cause no one has called me yet from GFL ....

upper management is a joke you'll be lied to about becoming a driver and you get s*** on by other employees if you don't fit in the loop

You couldn't be more wrong. Apparently, you're not reading these correctly. It has happened to me four times and I put my trash out a day early. Please check your facts before you make a stupid statement. Also, please learn how to spell

Bulk items comes once a month depends on the city you live call the company Monday and ask them why it did not get picked up

Usually once or twice a year your local municipality will have a hazardous waste collection day where you can turn in batteries and things of that nature. If yours doesn't alkaline batteries can be thrown in the trash but if it's a lithium ion many electronics retailers offer a collection service for those.

I know a few people who work there and they have actually been short handed lately in multiple departments

I noticed that you only answer the easy questions, i.e. where to place your garbage can or what day they stop picking up yard waste. LOL. How about tackling the more important ones? You know, things like why do you keep skipping my garbage? Or my recyclables? And why are we put on hold for 45 minutes just to have them Supply us with empty promises of pickups that never happen? It's pretty disgusting when it's 90° out and you've got weeks of rotting garbage piled up crawling with maggots. Yeah, why don't you give us some answers for that?

Mine is every 2 weeks i live in southwest detroit. On there web you can sign up for updates of when they will take bulk yard wast and recycling.

The only community that we are not picking up on MLK Day is the city of Detroit per our contract with that city.

Because we run anywhere from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and it's more than likely, that the trash ran before you put it out. That's not going to get picked up. You have to have your trash out by 7 a.m., I don't care what your normal running time is. Cuz if the route you live on has an extra truck, that's going to be the first place it gets picked up

I work for gfl and might have a thought. Those items are not picked up with compost but trash will grab and we have a lot of new people coming in and probably thought you wanted them gone. Sorry for the lost.

Recycle and trash should not be mixed, if that is going on, you may want to contact the Customer Service and speak with someone in regards

We blow the horn cause kids ask us to... oh, and, telling People who already work 12-18 hour days picking up trash to slow down, isn't going to do anything. More than likely, there's something in the can that we can't put in our truck. Like paint, bricks, or boards with Nails in them, or Building Material. These things, we don't pick up. In case you don't understand, gfl used to be Rizzo, we have no problem picking up our old cans.

Trash can is picked hydraulically as long as it's not too heavy like having bricks in there. You can leave next to garbage can as long they're heavy duty where animals can't get to

Landfill, GFL might pick the mattress up. You need to call them and give actual mattress size to see if they'll pick up.

You need to check your contract with the company or discuss which services you specifically want with GFL directly.

You have to clean the residue out first with soap and water. Then let the recycle man know that they have been properly and thoroughly cleaned out, so they don't refuse them.

You're right Jason that's why I have to work mandatory Saturdays after a holiday that falls during the week regular schedule day. So for instance if you have regular pickup on Friday it will be on Saturday
