All glass is acceptable
No
Yes, they do
Take broken concrete to the concrete company they will normally recycle it for you for free. There is one on Ford road under the bridge by the railroad tracks
I do not believe so.
From the city website: Due to the changing global recycling market, Westland curbside recyclables are temporarily being landfilled. However, all recyclables taken to the Westland Recycling Center will still be recycled
No electronics are accepted. Batteries, oil, white goods, and cardboard. If you live in Westland, the City picks up 3 items for free at the curb, including TV's and computers if you go to the City website and make an appointment for the pickup.
You can spill it on paper or cardboard and let it dry if you have a little left over in a can. Large cans or full cans need to go to wayne county collections they advertise twice a year.
I am doing yard work at my Daughter and Son's new residence. And have accumulated a large pile of brush and branches that I need to dispose of : 1) Can I deliver to here ? 2) Does she need to be present if I'm not a Westland Resident ? 3) Is there a cost or voucher required ? 4) Is there a phone # and associate available I can speak to regarding ? Thank You !
If you live in westland, you can go to the city website and a list of what they will pick up is available.
