I was investigated by these ppl. The complaint was I left my dog outside in adverse weather. My dog is a house dog. My dog outside to relieve herself while I'm getting ready for work and ever since the complaint I've been getting calls. Make that make sense. I've kept every letter I've received and will keep every letter.

Very unprofessional, 24 hours calling and no answer, I caught these people on video releasing my dogs out of my fenced in yard just to catch them and claim they were loose, got my dogs back when I showed the video threatening legal action

It's sad when you have to surrender a pet

Hello! In fact, many raptors (or "Birds of Prey") hunt small to medium snakes and cobras. Specifically, the Cooper's Hawk is often found preying on snakes. Consider spending thousands of dollars and a couple years getting a degree in falconry/hawkkeeping. Thanks for reading!
Yes we adopted 2 cats with no problem
^somebody better get this kid a bunny^
I need to get Emma 4 months blue heeler a home. She doesn't, fit in here.
Try http://humanesocietystjc.org to see what they currently have available for adoption
They have specials for senior dogs since they typically can be harder to adopt out. They don't always have the animals listed completely online and they go to the pet store for adoptions a lot. They are very friendly and always welcome calls, they can help you find events or set up a visit during a time when the dogs will all be there.

Hi Robin. We are an open-admission shelter that operates animal care and shelter services for St. Joseph County and Mishawaka City. We never know what type of dogs we will be getting in- it varies. As certain breeds become popular, we see more and more of those type of animals in our shelter. Right now, we are seeing many bully type dogs- but don't judge a breed by it's cover! Apply to adopt on our website and we will set up a time for you to come in and meet some of our awesome dogs.
Bury it. Wear gloves and try not to touch it. Or put it in a trash bag and put it out with the garage. Keep the kids and other animals away from the site. Could be lots of fleas.
It would be my pet that was previously surrendered. I meant if it was adopted, how they're doing, etc.
I'm not an employee of the humane society or any affiliates. However, I feel I can answer your question just fine. Owning a dog is a big responsibility. YOUR big responsibility. It's not a free kennel that'll pay someone to pick up your lost dog, feed it, house it indoors, provide medical care etc. Those are paid services. If you can't handle the dog, or comprehend what "service" means, then maybe you should reconsider owning an animal or procreating yourself.
How To Adopt While the Adoption Center is Closed View our adoptable pets on our website and Facebook page Apply to adopt on our website and indicate which animal(s) you are interested in when prompted on the online application: Click Here to Apply! Wait patiently as a Humane Society staff member processes your adoption application. This usually takes 24/48 hours but may take longer. We will call you and set up a specific time for you to visit the shelter and meet the animal(s) you are interested in. At the appointment time you’ll be able to meet our adoptable pets. If it’s a match, you’ll take your new adoptable pet home the same day! All animals must be transported home in a safe and legal manner. Bring a collar and leash or a secure pet carrier. We have cardboard cat carriers for sale at the shelter. During the adoption appointment you will sign the adoption placement agreement, receive copies of the animal’s vaccinations and other me
Call around to the different rescues. I think Meow Mission will give you a voucher and you trap the cat and take if to ABC Clinic, I think. No charge for you! I have done it many times before and need to do it again.
This humane society is absolutely disgusting, rat droppings all over everything, including the pet food, would strongly encourage the staff to clean up and PROPERLY DISPOSE OF NEEDLES! Underneath your xray table I found 2 OPEN NEEDLES along with a family of rodents 🤮
You sure.can we adopted a puppy two weeks ago and we live in Buchanan.
Call animal control they open 24hrs.
On there website
Hello- Sorry but I am confused by your question. Can you please clarify?
As long as dogs on a leash, you just keep away...so the dog is out of your reach.
We have a dog park for our members to bring their dogs to run off-leash. The dog houses are just for decoration- animals do not live in those areas or utilize the dog houses for shelter. If you're interested in joining the dog park we have a membership form to sign and we will need records of your dog's vaccinations. There is an annual fee for the membership but all funds collected from our membership help support our adoption center and medical costs for shelter pets. Hope this answered your question.
Not sure will have to call them
Yes they do.
Not at this time but we do have 2 guinea pigs and a rabbit.

Does Bert try biting people ?
Hi Helen, The best option would be visit your veterinarian. We do not offer veterinary services to the public. If you need help with her care, The Frantz Fund may be able to assist you. You can check out their website http://frantzfund.com/. In the case you believe euthanasia is the best option for your senior pet, please contact our office via telephone to learn more about this service at (574) 255-4726 ext O.
Just walk into the building and walk up to the counter. Tell them as much information as possible. This will help in getting the dog adopted.
Make sure you have shot records with you if you have them. If not the humane society has coupons for discounted shots that you get done through TSC or Pet Supplies Plus.
Hello Taleigh. My son is 13 and we both have walked Dogs for almost a year. They have some paperwork for you to fill out as the child's guardian and also the minor must read and sign some general rules and guidelines. We did the volunteer hours together so I'm not sure if he was old enough to be unsupervised. I'm guessing no though. I would call and ask about your specific questions regarding volunteering. Everyone is very nice and grateful for the help. Good luck.
Please be sure before you surrender him.
I'm not sure..me an my 11 yr old daughter tried to volenter an they said she was to yound....maybe some where in ur teens I'm guessing
To be honest with you. I would go in and look. Jennifer Heider apparently hasn't been in awhile. I would actually look at all the Shelters and even some of the ones online. I would make sure that they are well informed of the animals medical needs (records).
The cheapest I have found is ABC clinic. And if you watch specials they often have feline specials. If you are looking to get it done right now though ABC is going to be your cheapest option
Depends. If you have already filled out an application and been approved it can be same day if not then you have to fill out an application and wait for approval.
Check them out online or go in and fill one out.
Family Pet Health Services on Mishawaka Ave next to Wells Fargo. Great place, friendly, open late!
