Depends. If you have already filled out an application and been approved it can be same day if not then you have to fill out an application and wait for approval.
Same day in most cases
24-48 hours. You can fill out an application on line or in person. If you have any other pets already at home you must provide proof of rabies vaccination. And bring the pet in for playtime to be sure the 2 animals will get along.
