I'm not sure..me an my 11 yr old daughter tried to volenter an they said she was to yound....maybe some where in ur teens I'm guessing

I am a volunteer, I am not sure if the age is 16 or 18 but if you are younger than that you can still volunteer with parental supervision. You do have to take a class before you will be allowed to volunteer. If you are seriously interested give them a call and ask for Emily. She is the one who schedules the classes and is very nice and will absolutely get back with you. I have volunteered at multiple events and everyone is very kind and appreciative of the help.
You have to be 18 yrs. old and be notified when a class is available for you to even volunteer. That's if and when they ever contact you.
You can volunteer with a parent. I believe it was a teenager without a parent. If you go to the website they have a informational that you can sign up for. You actually need to apply for positions and go through training before working with the animals. It is a very rewarding experience. If I had more free time...I would be there all the time. Dang responsibilities and work gets in the way.
