My experience was as a Greater & Greener conference attendee. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The public areas, restrooms and meeting rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to public transit and Center City popular tourist attractions.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Free drinks, cookies, chips in lobby were a huge plus for snacks for kids and the staff checking us in and out were super helpful and nice. But the breakfast was boring, bland, the questionable eggs sadly were so bad we did not eat it. The kitchen staff was clearly stressed, over worked and understaffed. I paid 40 bucks breakfast totally not worth it at all.

Update: as I predicted, the response was a non response and didn't even address my most basic complaint so I'm dropping my review another star. Excellent location but it doesn't make up for the worst elevator setup I've ever experienced. First of all, I confess I have a BIG pet peeve with elevators which require key cards to operate. It's very inconvenient for visiting guests and it does nothing for safety. It just gives customers a false sense of security. Anyone who wants to get to a particular floor can just wait to hitch a ride with anyone else with a card. With these elevators, they seem to be programmed so that you can only press one floor at a time with each swipe of a key card. So, if you have multiple people who go to different floors, we've all had to follow the elevator all the way up and down, a silly and irritating process. AND the pillows are terrible, lumpy and thin, like sleeping on wadded up toilet paper. I've read some of the responses to complaints and they are just generic corporate spin platitudes. Don't waste my time or yours with that. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of hotels around the world and I've heard all the excuses.

Ice machines and vending throughout the hotel would be helpful. Perhaps they are going through a transition of sorts but overall great hotel and wonderful gym!! Staff was very attentive. Our bellman was excellent..don't recall his name but an older kind white gentleman

Yes you have to use a room key in the elevators to access the guest floors. The elevator won't go anywhere without them
You can always write a google review and they'll reply it attaching a form to fill up which they'll contact you via email that you'd have filled up.
At most an extension to 12pm...anything later will end up another nights rate..
