Great experience. Was in and out in no time

I'm not really sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised with how quick and friendly the service here was. Much quicker doing registration here, then at an on the spot renewal facility.

Just have to say I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kym S. You always expect a blah experience but can I just tell you she was engaging, funny and HELPFUL! Thank you so much for your help and for your awesome attitude/personality!

Great rates great customer service

The DMV and your insurance provider would need to know your lien holder's information 👍🏻
You should only need to make an appointment if you need to go inside. I renewed my motorcycle in the drive thru. But like for new registrations or titles, you need to go inside.
Go online and order a new set of plates
You can go to any office Statewide you don't have to go to your county office to register. Hope that helps
Not new registration. Only renewals can be done online
John you would still need to cancel the registration on the vehicle. Unless the new owner has registered the vehicle. If your plates are on ghe vehicle still i would reccomend cancelling the registration. You can call 1-800-DMV-UTAH and ask to see if it has been reregistered.
Yes. If it is a weekday
You can go to their website and it will tell you if you can do it online or in person
Just take your title with you to the dmv and they will do everything for you
2 forms of ID
I believe as long as you have proof of registration, they should be able to give you a replacement for a possible small fee. Try their website as well.
I had the same issue so I just made appointment, And finally got my issue fixed, everything is better on the computer? instead of going out in this terrible traffic.
Registration depends on the amount that you paid for because you got to pay tax on the vehicle usually it's anywhere from 120 to 2:30 for registration and on the admissions all cars that are placed under your name especially bought or title transfer needed admissions
Go to DMV.utah.gov scroll down just a little and there's an appointment scheduler icon. From there you can schedule!
It helps
I heard that they are going to have the exam in other languages but I don't know which ones or when.
This is not something that can be done online, as the are forms that have to be turned in. If you have a child that has power of attorney, then they may be able to do it for you.
Yes every other year
They have never asked to see mine.
You can go through the drive though. There are no appointments though the drive through and it typically goes pretty fast. This is the preferred option by those who work here. You can walk in and talk to someone, but there may be a significant wait. You can also make an appointment on the website (select the title and registration option if you choose to do this. There is no option to make an appointment for any type of renewal) This will give you priority over the walk ins and make your visit faster.
Very annoyingly, I have had to go there to schedule an appointment, and then come back for said appointment. They are now, I believe, allowing some walk in traffic.
Either go to the DMV or you may be able to try online
Best to do that way as no guarantee spot available when get there otherwise. I saw people turned away for no appointment slot.
Call drivers license division in south ogden
Yes, but you can register it as a "vintage" or some other synonym, which means you do not have to get safety or emission inspection (this does not mean that you are not subject to safety laws and can/will certainly be stopped and ticketed for infractions).
You need to go online & make an appointment. You will need to take in IDs, & car registration
Call the office to ask that question
No you can't get metal plates through the drive-up service because it used to be a bank so it has to fit in that tube so anything that not fitting that to can't be passed through the window to the drive-thru line
You can maybe buy yourself I think up to three weeks. Go to DMV with your registration card you pay for that and I think it's about 10.00 to get a 2 week pass. They allow one more time for like 10 days. Believe me I thought I could just go straight to get my emmisions done then straight to DMV. Nope!!! I got pulled over and ticketed 100.00 and sent straight home with that vehicle..... just sayin' , your choice
I think I would take Cory's good advice.. marriage license and Social Security card. Yes you do need an appointment and you will find it so much easier to get in and out when you do
Keep in mind in Weber county the drivers license division and the dmv are separate and completely across town from eachother
Proof of address
You can actually just go online and order another... They don't want people to come in as much as possible... Check online first
You need to go there and ask.
If you need an appointment... If you're just renewing then go through the drive thru... Making an appointment is just for really special instances
I went online to their website & followed the links to set my appointment. It was really easy.
The DMV handles motor vehicles. You'll need to direct your question to the DLD.
DMV is for motor vehicles only.....such as registering you vehicles You have to contact DLD for anything to do with drivers license or state issued ID.
You just sign title over to him and put zero or gift in the sale price. You do not have to have a dollar amount unless it is in a business name. Business assets have to have dollar amount when sold
Just go down to your local DMV office and fill out a application for a duplicate title.
Yes as long as she is with a licensed adult.
No you can keep same plates if you buy out lease. And re=use them when you buy out lease or use them on new vehicle. But dont use them until you come in and take care of registration
You just need title signed over and property tax clearance from county assessor showing property taxes are up to date
2013 and older have to have emissions every year
Depends upon the car/value/purchase price. I believe tax on it runs around 7%, plus title transfer of like $6, plus registration fees (I have an older vehicle that's around $75 and a newer around $100). Don't forget about emissions testing. We usually pay around $30, I believe.
I'd call their office for pricing. I do believe it's different based on year and type of vehicle.
You bring in the title and they will put the title and registration in your name also make sure you have the bill if sale also
No they need a picture
Ask for one
I dont think that's possible
Yes, I believe it is just a 72 hours tag. You will need proof of insurance, proof of ownership and ID. Open tomorrow at 8:30 I believe.
Motor vehicle registration and title is on Lincoln Ave in downtown Ogden. Any thing to do with your driver license is done at the DPS office in South Ogden. Sorry, it is a 2 stop shop deal here. Best of luck.
There's a few forms to fill to prove ownership, you'll need to take multiple pictures of the vehicle and VIN too. They will run the VIN at the office to make sure its not reported stolen or anything, then it's just a fee for a new title.
Not sure on that one. Be prepared to be disappointed. I believe you will still have to pay for last year and your renewal month won't change. Be very nice to them and listen to the person helping you. They don't make these rules, they are just doing a job as they have been told to do.
No you cannot get an ID from this office. It is only for vehicle registration and license. You must go to the driver licence div. In South Ogden for ID.
This place only registers your vehicle not driver license that is a different location
Yea
You will need to go to the Drivers License division in South Ogden though. This is not the correct location
Jass youll have to go to the Drivers License Division in South Ogden to have an I.D. issued.
No. You must come in
You need to get the vin number then come into the office pay fee for new title
You need to pay registration fees. And then pay for 15 day temp permit
Go speak to them in person they a very helpful, at that DMV location
No, you need to go to the Drivers License Division at 615 E 5300 S, South Ogden, UT 84405
I would just call and ask 😁
Nick, this is incorrect. They absolutely do charge the registration plus $6 for the temporary tag even if you havent passed emissions. Once you pass ans bring it into the office they will not charge you again because you've already paid everything. You cannot get a temporary tag without paying the full year registration
That is the license division in South Ogden by the national guard building, just off of Hwy 89
It would be about 88.75. It is 70.75 for registration if you live in weber county and then 6 for title 6 for plates and 6 if you need a temporary permit to get emissions done
Just come to dmv with picture I'd
I work for DMV where you get titles and license plates. You want the DLD drivers license in south Ogden. Their web site is dld.ut.gov
Court puts the points on your record all the camera does is gives the states evidence to show in court.
just go to where inpound is and they will let you get the bill of sale out of car
I just barley bought a car. I jave put repairs into it to get it to pass emissions cause the check light kept coming on. So I was told I had to do a drive cycle to set emission monitors. Either all monitors come on then boom check light on. Gets cleared and repeat drive cycle. I have already failed 3 tests and had 4 temp tags. Could I get another one to drive to set cycle
It depends on how much you paid for it
Right away
Well you're going to have to have somebody else that you know go get them for you with a notarized letter from you of course and all the paperwork needed life insurance copy of your photo ID bill of sale saying that you have purchased a vehicle and that'll probably be about it
No, as long as it was done in the state of Utah in the last 11 months you're good to go!
If you had a license before but other than that you need your birth certificate social security number and ID possibly not the ID but birth certificate and Social Security number for sure if you've never had a license before
$70.75 for registration, plus $6 for the title and an additional $6 for your plates.
You can use the emissions tests the previous owner had. You won't need safety for the vehicle.
You need to go to the Drivers Licesne Division in South Ogden for that
No
How much is a 4 day temp tag for a car
Sorry to say, they want your money. It will cost you, not sure how much.
