Based on the other reviews I’ve read and my own experience today I can see that their eligibility requirements to get help actually doesn’t do what this organization is for….. to help women and children in abusive situations. I am actively trying to escape an abusive situation and keep getting told I don’t qualify. I want to know what terms are these qualifications. Do I need to die for them to take me and my child’s situation seriously??? Is there a higher up I can speak to???? Do Not Call Here I guess if your getting beaten up, threatened & stalked daily, your abuser showing up even tho there is a protective order against them, and showing up to your child’s school to threaten your child’s teacher multiple times. Guess you don’t qualify if that is your situation. 🤦🏽♀️

I don't know why but this place is extremely prejudice! I have tried on multiple occasions to sincerely get help from this place due to my situation, and after giving them my name they refused to help me. I have nowhere to go and I fit every one of their criterias to receive help as well. I'm not trying to cause problems I just sincerely do not understand why they say that they're there to help with women who are in abusive situations and have nowhere to turn. Every time I've given them a fake name they are more than willing to accommodate me, but the minute that I give them my real name Everything Changes. UPDATE: I tried giving these guys another chance and again, at 2 a.m. after being beat up and dumped off by my abusive ex, I came to them for help. The woman who did my intake treated me horribly and said sorry, we won't help you because I had my dog with me. I was sent packing in a very scary neighborhood with nowhere to turn in the middle of the night. My ex found me and sent three of his friends to assault me as well. I don't know why but they are totally against me personally and I feel it's criminal the way they treat me. It's wrong to do to people needing serious help with nowhere else to turn.

Thank you so much you will never realize how much you are helping
Yes. If they decide not to use any of it, it could be the makeup.
When they open the doors about 9AM. Food, day care, housing.
I used to take a woman named Barbara to appts and stores. Sweetest thing ever. She lived there and then one day she stopped calling me. My phone broke and I lost my contacts. Never heard from her again. I drive by today and saw HER NAME on the side of the building!!!! So did she pass??!!! Was it named after her? Did she get her mother’s inheritance ?
Hello, We do accept some food items at the front office. All food items must not be past the expiration date. Thank you for considering the Ycc Family Crisis Center for your donation. We are open M-F 8-3 for food donations.
It's better to go first thing in the morning

Thank you for your interest in donating to YCC! Unfortunately, we do not accept large items like furniture as we do not have storage space for it.
Absolutely. Thank you for thinking of us! We'll begin accepting donations again on June 22.
No they don't. If they don't have a opening, you just have to wait...
Hi Karen, We are always happy to accept donations of that nature. It does appear that this man from the community could also use the blanket. The decision rests with you. Thank you for considering us!
I would call right at 8:00 am first thing in the morning. 10/slots fill fast. You get 15 minutes to consult with the attorney. Come prepared with your paperwork.
Try the Rescue Mission Women's Center. 1165 State St Salt Lake City, UT 84111
You can donate it if thats what you mean yes. If your asking if you can use it while your staying there then no they have there own for the ppl staying there I hope this helps your question.
Call in and they can fill out an eligibility form to determine if your situation qualifies for shelter or if there are other services that would be better suited to your needs.
Thank you so very much for your support it is very much appreciated 🙂

Yes, we accept men along with their children.
The ycc is a shelter for families (women, men, and/or children) that are seeking to escape abusive situations and they provide the resources to help them get back on their feet.
