This place is great!! Amazing to be so up close to real dino tracks & fossils. Wonderfully set up, & GREAT staff. Keith, the volunteer guide, absolutely made our visit. If you go (and you should), make it a point to talk to the volunteer guides. You gain so much insight and notice many things you may not on your own. Thank you Keith & Dino Discovery Center!

Great time for kids and adults who act like kids. There is a lot of information and things to look at. I especially recommend doing their scavenger hunt. You can spend as much time or as little time as needed there. I also appreciate the hidden delorean and Tardis in the painting.

Hi Alyssa, yes, dogs are allowed in the museum. Its so hot here in the summer we can't bear the thought of them inside a car. We do ask that only well-behaved dogs go through the exibits, otherwise there is a lobby area for waiting inside with your pups. Thanks!
Sundays are the same admission rates, $ 8 adults, $ 4 children.
Yes, there are tracks in Warner Valley, which isn't too far from St. George on Bureau of Land Management public lands. There are signs interpreting the tracks as you get to them. Another area is at the botanical gardens near Dixie Rock that have different tracks but of the similar age to our site. They are scattered thoughout the garden but some are marked as well. Happy fossil hunting!
This is a great question, we have a total of 17 different track types, those not made by dinosaurs include _Batrochopus_ tracks which are likely made by a small crocodylian such as Protosuchus, we also have fish swim tracks, insect/invertebrate tracks, and examples of pterosaur tracks.
$8 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), $6 for students w/ an id, $4 for kids (4-16) and kids under 3 are free. We also have a locals rate, so ask at the counter if you live in Washington County, and a group rate for 10+ people.
The Dinosaur Discovery Site is actually held within a climate controlled museum that's ADA Accessible.
Group rates are as follow: Adults (ages 12+) are $4 and Children (ages 4-11) are $2, while Babies (under 3 years old) are free.
