Very good grief group which has helped me after the death of a loved one. Multiple Community Outreach Groups, good sermons and excellent music ministry. Has a pre-school & kindergarten also.

The head priest (Monsignor) is an egotistical control freak. While planning a family funeral, we were given permission to have a family member do a eulogy during the VISITATION time, BEFORE the mass started. The family member is a professor, and author, who attends church every week. The day before, his speech was approved by the pastor's assistant. Around 7pm, the night before the funeral, my relative received an email from the pastor. His speech had been full of omissions and redactions. Basically, anything personal or slightly humorous was deleted. I begged and pleaded, but the monsignor would not budge. He then decided to speak about himself and HIS family during the mass. He robbed our family of any slight comfort, with absolutely no basis. This is one of the many reasons that people distance themselves from the church. Disgraceful.

There is an active ministry to help those that are grieving the loss of somebody they love. The bereavement group is given three times a year for 8 consecutive weeks. Currently on Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 830 pm, held on the Second Floor of the Parish Center.
Check out Solid Rock Baptist Church on Route 30 (white Horse Pike) in Berlin, NJ. They have a huge ministry to assist folks that are struggling with addiction. 12 step groups are offered.
Basket auction is this weekend, November 18 & 19th. Saturday 10-3 and Sunday 9-2. Tickets will be drawn about 1:30. Craft show with over 40 vendors also.
