Great pool experience. Professional staff and life guards. The park is stunning and the pool is right at the waterside.

This is my favorite pool in the entire world at this point. It's a bit of a hike for me but it's always worth the drive down. I love the nice long 100 meter laps, salt water and spectacular views of the sky while I practice my back stroke. As a beginner there is always room for me to move slowly in the beginner lane. I love to visit white center after a good long swim.

Not close to parking so you have to hike to it but it is still my favorite pool in Seattle. Best for warm sunny weather.

It's obviously closed right now but I went here during summer 2021. The pool itself is great. Saline is a little better for the skin. Never too cold. It's getting there and getting in that's not so great. If you're driving 30+ min from other parts of Seattle, you have to get there 30-60min early to find a nearby parking spot. Then you walk about 10-15 min down a high to find this pool. The reason I took two stars off this review was because of the way they handled ticketing during COVID. It was first come first serve and you can only buy at the window. No online ticketing and no priority for parks & rec pass holders. They could randomly sell out or not sell out within 5 min. So if you called 30 min before, was told there are still tickets, and drive down 30 min, it could be sold out by the time you get there and you just wasted all your time. They should just do an online ticketing system and allow last minute entrances for no-shows.

Count on ~ 15 minutes to walk from either of the parking lots to the pool. Wagons, wheeled coolers etc. are helpful. You can also ride a bicycle and secure it near the pool. If the weather is nice, don't be surprised if the lots are full early. The adventure is worth it. On a nice day, the view is fabulous.

12 noon, same time it opens to public. You can buy a pass card and skip the pay line.
You should call and ask.
Colman pool existed as a natural tidal pool that would fill with ocean water. A bulwark and gate was later added to trap more water. The pool stucture you see today was built in 1941 by Ken Colman and donated to the city. Doug (a lifeguard from Colman pool).
Nope they had signs up saying closed labor day
