Not very informative on what would be happening after my daughter was air lifted from aberdeen wa to Harborview my daughter was not discussed as to anything other then when I called after several attempts reaching out I had a return call back from surgeon that didn't even do the surgery for my daughter. They sent her home after 5 minutes each day total of 2 days which is 10 minutes total with physical therapist. She is in a full leg brace just had surgery on lower leg and part cast as well as several fractures in upper leg and many fractures in pelvic which I was told by Dr. That surgery would be taking place but never occurred. She was discharged after 3 days 2 of which were 3rd day being only 1 day after surgery. They never washed the blood off her face or head nor did they care for it. Her bedding was soaked clear up her night gown when I arrived at trauma center to see her. I'm sad that the only concern was to get her out of there. So my concern is with my daughters ability to recover successfully without more trauma. 3 weeks until her 1st appt. After discharge!

Yes, many of our orthopedic care providers are accepting new patients. You can find out which providers are accepting new patients (and also request an appointment) by clicking the 'Care Providers' tab on the Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Clinic at Harborview web page.
