Cute campground and hiking trail! All Trails labels this as a "Moderate" level hike but I disagree, it was fairly short and not too much elevation gain. Still we had nice views of the Cascades! The trail kind of ends abruptly off of a logging route, so only 4 stars for the hike.

One of few suspension bridges you can cross. Ample parking, great walking trails.

We stayed in the yurts with some friends over a September weekend and we lucked out with great weather for most of the time. The camp sites are located across a suspension bridge, which is a bit of a pain to get to, but they provide wheel barrows to make it a little easier. If you arrive during a peak, you might have to wait a while. Once you get over the bridge, all of the sites are generously spaced out. Our was #4 and it was right by the bathroom, which was convenient but also provided a constant fragrance that was not desirable. The bathroom was probably the worst part as we only used it as a last resort as it was quite smelly. Our yurt had two bunk beds which were ok (better than sleeping on the floor) but it also had two outlets which was great for plugging sound machines for the kids. And the large outdoor grass areas was great for letting the kids roam. We didn't make it too far up the hiking trails but they looked beautiful. Overall, this was a great affordable way to "glamp" while not having to sleep in a tent.

Gorgeous park with a cool bridge and paths winding through flat forest, wooded hills, and leading down to the Snoqualmie River. Campsites and picnic shelters are available. A great place for to spend some time near the river

You can check with the King county rentals on this. https://www.kingcounty.gov/services/parks-recreation/parks/parks-and-natural-lands/popular-parks/toltmacdonald.aspx
You bet
Just after the town, there is a bridge, before remlinger farms. There is a rental and launch are on the right. From there you can go as far as u can
You can find a couple shaded areas by the river not a lot and there is no bathrooms along the river.
The camp sites have BBQ pits, but I don't think there any for free use.
Check King Country Park Rentals.
Yurts, hookups for trailers etc. and camping sites, nice park lots to do..
If you are looking for a site for a weekend at the end of Summer, before school starts, reserve a year early.
The water is on when the campsites are open. They close November 1st for the winter.
You'll have to check King County Parks website.
Yep. There are 3 different places you can park to access the river, too. Boat launch of of Tolt Hill Road, trail access lot on the left, heading north on 203 right after the bridge, and of course, Tolt MacDonald parking lot. All are free to park.
Yes, i believe dogs are allowed in the river.
Be careful because the river moves faster than it appears. Also, while it may be warm out, the water is from melted snow and will be cold.
Pretty sure it's free for day use and, hour's are sun up to 10:00. I just surveyed that area last summer.
