Best camp ever! The food is always great, amazing staff, and you'll get to try new things. A great way to spend one of your weeks in the summer. There is boating, archery, swimming, and so much more. I highly recommend Camp Gilead to all ages!

This is a one of the great camps of the Northwest. Set right on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, it is as picturesque as it is convenient. The camp is well run by caring people who love making a positive impact in the lives of kids. Peoples' lives can change at this camp.

They no longer offer horseback riding during camp weeks. It became too expensive to offer and keep camp costs low. (I believe they are the lowest priced camp I know of.) She should check out the camp website. The have many activities throughout the year that adults can participate in. There is a women’s retreat, mother daughter retreats (where they sometimes do bring in horses for the little girls to be led around on), hymn sings, and family camp.
Bed times vary depending on age grade. Typically, Junior Camp is 9 PM, Junior High 9:30 PM and High School 10 PM with exception for Friday nights during Junior High and High School camps where they participate in a camp fire and Friday Night Live skit night.
