As a nanny, working with Alie and Brooklyn Manny and Nanny was wonderful. I felt very supported through the whole process (which went really quickly!). Alie is very personable and thorough and answered all of my questions. What stood out to me most is their contracts - they really are looking out for you. The NYC nanny world can be crazy and so it was great to go into my job with that confidence. I’m also with a great family!

Alie is a total godsend! We were late looking for an afterschool sitter for our 2 elementary aged children and had some fairly specific needs in terms of times, homework help, assistance with their extracurriculars, and of course covid protocols with not yet eligible to be vaccinated children. I reached out to several agencies and friends, social media groups, etc and struck out because the demand for sitters is so high. Brooklyn Manny and Nanny was excellent throughout the process from start to finish. Alie is a very clear communicator and was up front that it would not be a 2 day search but probably a couple of weeks. Within a week she'd send us several very strong resumes and we were able to Zoom interview candidates. We found a PERFECT sitter for our kids on the third interview and it was a totally seamless process working out the hours, pay, and details. I have worked with other babysitting agencies in the past and was incredibly impressed by Alie and Brooklyn Manny and Nanny. Total five star experience!

By far the worst agency I've ever worked with. I've been with them for a year and they have sent me on 2 interviews, one of which was a complete waste of time since they were dishonest with the parents about what rate I'd be willing to accept. Alie and Annie are two of the least professional businesswomen I've ever come across. They'll call you about a job and you literally call them back within the hour and they'll either not bother responding, or ask what job you're referring to then never follow up again. They've done this over 10 times. They are completely disorganized and really don't care about communication or working to place people. Not sure what exactly they do all day in that office.

I've worked as a nanny and clubsitter through BMAN for a few years now. I had tried other agencies and Brooklyn Manny and Nanny were by far the best- I ended up sticking with them and so happy I have! Alie and Anna are really nice, easy to talk to, and super helpful. They've worked with me to find me many jobs that fit with my schedule. The families I've worked for have all been amazing and I feel much safer than the apps, knowing that the agency has vetted the parents.
