Lovely walk. The beavers were adorable! Just don't go in the water.

It's a great place to take a little in town City hike. It's all tied into the Thornton Creek Watershed and I really enjoy it very much on a nice day

Beautiful park with lots of trails. We watched a heron fishing for quite a while. Peaceful. Lots of free parking on 35th.

Lots of great places to sit and hang out enjoying nature. There's also a lot of views of the water including a nice bridge over it.

Fishing there is prohibited. Fishing there will result in fines, possible legal fees, and a LOT of bad karma.
As of June 2021, the definitive answer is: No fishing, No trapping, No hunting! Washington Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, Seattle Public Utilities (which owns/manages the property) and City of Seattle attorneys are all in agreement on this issue. These rules are posted. In addition to managing stormwater, Meadowbrook Pond is a neighborhood wildlife sanctuary, providing home/nesting/refuge/territory to beavers, muskrats, otters, herons, osprey, eagles, owls, all manner of waterfowl & songbirds, amphibians, reptiles, fish (of course), insects, etc. Sadly, a crayfish trap already resulted in the recent death of an otter, and abandoned fishing gear has caused other problems. Please do not disturb any of the wildlife -- thank you.
