To be honest I don't think there is a lot going on here in Colman Beach. It does have a parking lot so you can use it as the starting point of your activities around. Take the trail to go inside the park. Personally I prefer the Mt Baker Beach just a couple of minutes' walk down south, the view is better and it actually feels like a park, with a swimming area, and a public restroom

Wonderful beach with beautiful views of the lake, Mt Rainier and downtown Bellevue. Plenty of parking, and green space for a picnic. People go swimming or kayaking here. Go check it out

Not an overwhelming amount of parking but I've always found a spot. Beautiful views of I-90 and Mercer island, of course. And as with all parks in this area, flawless maintenance. Garbage cans available.

There is not an hour limit However the gate is locked every night.
Yes. There's a parking lot with a few spaces. When full, people park on the road and up on the curb, and then they get tickets! So best to get there early to get a designated parking spot.
