Lovely space to spend an entire day, walk around or plan a picnic when the weather allows. Make sure to bring some packed lunch or snacks since there isn't any cafe inside the park. There are a few coffee places outside the park where you can pick up a meal. Very scant restrooms too!

Great hiking trail! So many things to explore and just take nature in. The area is huge and great for nature photography with lots of room for creativity. My favorite spot was the Japanese Maple. It's especially beautiful when the weather is nice and warm with some sun out.

This place is inspiring and peaceful. I love the flowers 🌺 on the trees and bushes. So many different species of magnolias and trees. I am coming back here! The cherry blossoms or maybe what they call Sakura Trees are very beautiful right now they are in bloom don’t miss out on this experience.

Nice peaceful green space for a walk. The park is very well maintained and easy to navigate. The Japanese garden isn’t free but worth visiting. On weekends or when the weather is nice, parking can be full.

Yes, you can bring your dog. If you want to go to more specific places though, you might want to check for any signage that indicates otherwise (if I recall correctly, the japanese garden for example, does not allow pets).
Yes
There are new designated bike paths. Probably one of the *safest* places to ride a bike in the city
The park doesnt offer scooters but they are allowed and most areas/trails are scooter friendly and accessible
The park is about 1 mile long and over 200 acres. The news loop trail is 2.5 miles long.
Yes, dogs are allowed as long as they are well behaved. Owner is responsible for cleaning and disposing poop!
Botanical Garden is free. Japanese Garden does need ticket but has better parking so we often park there and do both.
Yes it's ok
There isn't any actual swimming area but I did saw a few kayakers swam in the lake. Tho the water is pretty gross at this time of the year not sure if you want to swim in it. I don't see anyone fishing here but I guess you probably can if you have a license. The only spot I can think it be a good spot to fish is along the trail into Mt Terrace bridge.
Washington Park Arboretum is open every day from dawn to 8pm, free of charge. Visitors Center is open limited hours. Japanese Garden is currently by appointment for $8
There are big parking lots at the Arboretum. The challenge would be the narrow roads in park, and there is a foot bridge that one has to drive under to get to other side. I'm not sure what the height clearances are for bridge. That said, the road would not allow enough room for turning a motorhome around. Probably best to park on the street and walk into the park or if you are carting bikes use them to explore the park.
Wisteria blooms in spring around here, and blooms more and more the more south you go.
This year who knows but it's a beautiful Park otherwise. The visit here is always nice.
Yes, the park has a spiderweb of connected off-road paths that could be navigable in a wheelchair. But there are a few sections with stairs. The main loop around the arboretum is paved, though, so if you don't plan to go off-road it will be totally fine.
I think it shuts down around 8 PM.
Yes. Most is free. As far as I saw, the only paid entrance was to the Japanese Gardens.
Free for the arboretum. You need to pay for the Japanese garden.
For tassels
Walk across the bridge (walk south) take a left once across, it will lead you I to the arboritum. A few blocks walk once you turn. It is obvious
I am pretty sure that it is. They have some nice tours and programs around the beginning of October. For more info you should Google Japanese garden in fall. I saw something for the 4th of October.
Some... there is a paved road that is open to bicycles. The gravel trails are not.
There is a parking lot, I'm sure you could use two spots for your vehicle and trailer.
It's pretty muddy in many places on rainy days or after it has rained a day or two before. I usually wear hiking boots.
Only the parking lot closes. Walkers can go in any time. No restrooms after 5:00PM, though.
