I've lived in a lot of different states in my 69 years of living and this is the worst electric company I have ever come in contact with, the lights go out every time the wind blows a little bit and it takes them forever to fix the problem, so my advice is if you're going to used this company you better have plenty of flash lights and batteries, SORRY COMPANY

Again we lost power on a sunny day. Had power outage last week with same weather conditions, this is ridiculous. Excelsior needs to update their infrastructure. If I had a choice in power companies I would never use Excelsior

Twice this company has cut down trees in the least professional way possible. The first time, the trees were left right where they were cut and blocked off my mother's driveway. Nobody came to move them after several calls.. trees we're cut again and left right where they were cut, this time blocking the porch to get in my mother's house. This is the least professional job I have ever seen in my life. Would have taken 10 minutes with a small crew to move them over at least a few feet.

Call the number for excelsior and follow the instructions and you should be able to get to talk to a human being at some point but I'm not sure with how late it is

If the person that wants the power in their name does not have an active account, they have to complete a credit check. If they have an active account with a good pay history, the cost is $25. With a good credit check the cost is $50. Depending on credit history it can be as much as $500. The only other option is to apply for prepay service and the startup fee for that is $125. I hope this helps.

Only if you have a pre pay account. Regular post pay account dont work this way unless your lights were just cut off earlier the same day for not paying the bill. Hope this helps answer your question.
