Not worth 1 star. Have no compassion for poor people with babies! Baby had a heat stroke cause I was 7 days late. Most horrible experience I’ve had in my life! Everyone hates AEP now. Perfect example of rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer!

Oh how I wish we had another option for power in our area. The prices are through the roof, they charge whatever they want, you can either pay or now have power and they know this. I live by myself, in a very small place, two months in a row, I never turned the furnace on, always used a kerosene heater, left no lights on, other than the room I was and each one of those months, my power bill just kept getting bigger. I don't care what anyone says, I believe they estimate and move on, bottom line. They are always hiking the prices, knowing we are helpless to do anything about it. I also don't think I have ever dealt with a company who cared so little for their customers. But, like I said in the beginning, we are powerless to do anything, if we want power, we pay it, or we do without. I don't see this changing any time soon, I only see it getting worse. It saddens me to think of all the poverty level and below people that live in this area, who are doing without things they need, medicines and so on because they have to make sure that power bill is paid. As a type 1 diabetic who has had multiple heart attacks and quadruple bypass surgery and lives with congestive heart failure, I have skipped several medicines on several occasions because if I didn't, my power would be shut off. But, here we are, if we want power, we bend to their will helplessly, while they steal the very life from us, with this insane rates.

Doesn't give 2 credit about their customers and prey on low income areas. Charging outrageous prices and deposits based on usage of previous owners. Unexplained and unexpected increases and rumors of more to come. It cost more to keep the lights on than a mortgage payment. Yall should be ashamed

Ridiculous rates, then again when it is the only option for electricity they can price gouge and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
