If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I lived here for about 10 months as a grad student and have now moved out. I absolutely loved living here until the current manager, Shelley, took over. After that, it was an absolute nightmare. Felt like I was making a order for broken utilities at a minimum twice a week. The pool is closed often for seemingly no reason; they never gave any sort of notice. The maintenance staff is poor at best. The head maintenance worker drives around his golf cart while texting. One time he ran right into my car. I spent about two months trying to get insurance information or at least their copy of an incident report from Shelley, to which she outright refused. For some reason she chooses to be passive aggressive about any sort of issue you may have with staff or the complex. I am still waiting for any kind of assistance to fix the damage to my car from this place. Due to all of the issues that arose from Shelley’s poor management, the Lakes at Arrowhead did a really good job of making me feel extremely unwelcome in my own home. I would highly discourage anyone from living here. There are plenty of other complexes for a similar price in the same location, I’ve visited a few friends at many of these places and would say it’s more worth anyone’s time to go there instead.

This review is for the assistant community manager- Lauren Jarman. My husband and I moved to The Lakes (previously Arrowhead Ranch Apts) in June of 2021. At that time they were acquired by Baron for renovations. Now Decron Management Properties has taken over and as with every place else in the valley, prices of rentals and homes are going up at alarming rates. Lauren Jarman was here when we moved in, and she is still here now. I know that Lauren has had to endure a lot of frustration from tenants due to the new management and increases in rent, new regulations, etc etc. Lauren has been nothing but professional and kind in the midst of all of these difficult changes. We are really grateful for her and her willingness to hear out our concerns and to understand where we are coming from. She is not in control of any of what is happening right now, but she is the face of the property, and she is handling it the best as she can. Give her a smile and a great attitude, and encourage her in the good work she IS trying to do! My husband and I are looking at buying a home hopefully soon, but I would recommend this apartment based on the location to the freeway as well as the view of the "lakes". The new management and everything is going through some rough patches, but they will get through it. Thank you again Lauren, for your sweet attitude and big smile, we appreciate you! :)

This community has beautiful lake views and overall well kept grounds that make it an enjoyable place to live. The large windows in our apartment bring in so much natural light, and all of our plant babies in our home are thriving! There have been some changes and updates around the property, and the staff has kept things running smoothly. Lauren, in particular, is so friendly and answers any questions we have thoroughly. Would definitely recommend Lakes at Arrowhead.

This place was great until January 22 when new ownership took over. They nickel and dime billing, they’re management - Shelley Emmet - is inconsiderate (we had a 3 week old at the time and couldn’t get help setting up their new payment system for auto pay), part of their utility charges are paid online but they force you to use a credit card and then charge you a convenience fee for using a credit card, the staff is awful (all new staff Jan 22), and apparently we’re not allowed to store personal items in our garages (they’re doing an inspection of all garages next week). This place is awful under new management. Currently living here as of this posting on 3/2/22. Will not be renewing lease. Happy to talk to anyone who is interested in knowing more.
