Not horrible. Lots of free parking. Room was huge. Full kitchen and separate room with the suite. Staff was pretty helpful. Keys kept needing to be remade. The pull out couch was WAY broken(way, way}. Not the best crowd (also not the worst). It's getting better. Used to be pretty scary.

We came to the city for a one day flea market. Paid for two nights/two rooms. They had given away our reserved wheelchair accessible room when we first arrived (to an employee). Spent an hour getting that sorted. Came back tonight, tried key in door... lady looked out window and said we had wrong room. Confirmed room number on keycard. Spent next hour searching in various areas for our clothes/medication/blankets/etc... finally found it in a room, thrown haphazardly into garbage bag. They found another room for us... with smaller beds and dirtier. Also, I've been charged $250 over what I should have, because each change of room, charged my card again. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. Owner and employees have zero care for customers.

My fiance was being shipped out for Boot Camp, and they let him ride with me and a friend. We thought we'd be able to stay at his hotel, but it wasn't gonna happen. Super last minute, I booked this hotel. First red flag; the key cards wouldn't work. It was 4:30 am when we left to say goodbye to him, and had planned to come back to sleep for a few more hours (which is already difficult in this situation), but we couldn't get into the room. I went to the front desk and got new cards, but it being past 4 in the morning, still dark outside and in a part of town with shady people wandering around, obviously it would be better to avoid the problem altogether and get this fixed asap. Second red flag; the walls and carpets were falling apart. The paint is not only peeling, there are holes in the walls in very strange places and there are yellow stains near the bathroom by the sink. Not a great look for any hotel, no matter the rating, and generally an easy fix. 3rd red flag; there's no noise control in the building at all. After getting back after 4 am and finally falling asleep, I heard 2 different rooms either having sex extremely loudly (good for them) on the squeakiest beds ever, or fighting to the death sumo-style. Obviously this can't be avoided as people are gonna do what they're gonna do, but it lasted 2 hours straight and I had a 5.5 hour drive to make while check out is at 11. OVERALL: I am extremely happy I found somewhere to stay for the night so last minute and I'm thankful I had that last day with my fiance before he left for three months. If you have a long drive or prefer a hotel with a more classy vibe (less peeling paint, holes and stains), I'd skip this one and find a better rating elsewhere. The staff was very nice. Find a room on the top floor.

We've stayed here off & on over 5 years due to location. It's an old motor court type motel located around an outdoor swimming pool. Never was the Ritz but always clean & kept up which is all I ask for in a lower priced room. But now it has become a step up from an hourly hotel. We reserved & paid to be on the "nicer" side. (there's a Rodeway motel too in the same location) but the room horrible. When I went to the office to let them know we were in the (what I thought) was the Rodeway side I was told that we were in a Quality Inn room! I was told I could cancel my stay & find somewhere else to go, which I would have done but everything in the area we needed to be was booked. Other people came in with complaints about not being able to open doors & were told (with an attitude) that the must have deactivated their key card by putting it near their phone, that they just didn't know how to use the door handle properly, & one employee questioned if they even had the right room! My room took three tries to push the door open, which looked like it had been pried open at one time, & door wouldn't shut without forcing it closed. Bed (which was very comfortable) only had sheets on it, no blanket. Bathtub was dirty & moldy, tiles coming off wall, sink & tub drained slowly, missing light fixtures on ceiling, heat/air unit rattled & had to be cranked at full speed all night to keep temperature consistent. Holes in wall due to pictures missing. Was afraid to use hair dryer as the cord by handle was melted. At some point the walls had been painted & there were different colors splattered randomly about like a kid had paint on their fingers & touched everything. Vent in bathroom was filthy & probably hadn't been cleaned since installation. We've stayed at Quality Inns through 3 states & never had a room this nasty.
