RACIST***Do not stay here. The people who run this place are awful** This place was recommended by Choice Hotels who also should be extremely ashamed of themselves. These people are not only hateful, they do not maintain their plumbing and their rooms smell bad. The room deposit is based on the color of your skin. I'm white, so I may get charged nothing or it may be 50.00. If my black friend checks us in, it's 100.00. We know because we've stayed more than once. If you're black, the deposit is re-charged and held every day, even if you stay multiple nights. So, the general message here is, if you're an icky human being, choose this place. If not, please don't give these people any more money. There are porta potties close by that would provide a cleaner, kinder place to sleep.

Avoid this hotel. There are much better options nearby. Owner is a penny pincher that has interesting policies I've never heard of before to keep your deposit, which included not using towels if there's any color in your hair. Went from $50 deposit when I called to $100 when the sales reps checked in. Almost had the room canceled if check in didn't happen by 4pm... luckily called ahead. Made the guests very uncomfortable the whole weekend. Outbreak of ants in the room. Coffee machine didn't work. Almost didn't get deposit back when checking out early because of another "policy" that check out process doesn't occur until 10am... guests insisted they didn't want to return to the hotel again and talked the owner in to inspecting the room for the deposit. I've stayed at a few other Econo lodges and their partners and this is by far the worst.

Unfortunately upon checking in after being told NOT to smoke , there is a big burn hole on the bed cover (room smelled of smoke) I know if I had asked to move it wouldn't have been much better. The sheets had burn holes as well. On the last morning there I moved to bed to look for an item I dropped and I found what looked like a drug pipe made of what seemed like a ink pen that was melted. Also there were ants coming from the wall, and we're in all my toiletry items. They had filled the sink up (assuming my mouthwash attracted them). Their were lots of sketchy people in the parking lot late at night, but none bothered me. I felt safe, but was uncomfortable due to the smell and ants.

The rooms here are pretty good for the price an location. The only thing I have to say I didn't care for was it was kinda a pain in the butt was trying to get into the parking lot because it is right off of a busy street so it gets a little hectic sometimes
