Piedmont House is the best place to live in Atlanta! You never have to wait on maintenance issues to be repaired because Girard is on top of everything. It doesn't matter what time of day or night! Love this place!

The maintance staff here does an excellent job - they respond quickly to posted maintance issues and all team members are very knowledgeable in addressing the varied problems that sometimes occur within the apartment. A very impressive team!

The Piedmont House building is a gem - beautiful units, great amenities, desirable location and secure. But after 14 months of living here, I can say without hesitation that the heart of this place is the maintenance team - Girard (head of the maintenance) runs this place like no other. After hours emergency repairs - no prob! Normal run of the mill repairs or instructions - no prob! I’ve even run into them coming from the gym and mentioned that I was going to need to put in a ticket for an air filter and then completely forgot about it…same day, they’re at the door ready to fix it because THEY REMEMBERED! All with a smile & great personality. And shout out to Clinton who is the warmest maintenance man I’ve ever met. Having lived in many apartments in Atlanta, DC, Pittsburgh & San Diego, I’ve been blown away by Girard and his team. Wish we could take him with us! Camila at the concierge desk is the absolute best! Pleasant, helpful, professional, knowledgeable…the list goes on. She needs to be running that team and training everyone else to be just like her! Shanise at the leasing office has been phenomenal! Some leasing agents get you signed up and then forget you even exist - not her! We had a rocky start with the previous manager ghosting us and she stepped in and has taken care of us ever since. Kelly, the new manager has been great too! Even the cleaning team has been great! The recycling being outside and downstairs is a con, I’m used to having it in the same place as the trash chute instead of having to cart it downstairs and down a hill to the bins. It’s a deterrent to recycling - a neighbor told me they just put theirs in a trash bag down the chute because it’s “not worth the hassle.” BUT the biggest con is the pricing. I understand the pandemic has opened up the opportunity for owners to profit greatly, but it’s crazy what we’ve seen here. I’m talking a unit once $2800 in 2020, now $5700 in 2022!!!Unfortunately, there’s been a lot of turnover in the building because of the rent hikes so what’s missing from here is more of a community feel. If your neighbors can’t renew their lease, or afford to grow into a larger unit - it’s kinda sad. We’ve said goodbye A LOT in our time here! And after deciding to grow our family, we’ve been faced with the same issue. That’s the only reason for the removed star. All in all we’ve had a great experience here so I say, if you’ve got money to blow - it’ll be money well spent here! I’m no hater ;) Thanks to everyone here at Team Piedmont House!
