Depending on whether you are taking the written test or road skill test, 1. You pay once for the road skill test and if you fail the first time you can retake the test till you succeed. I took the test four times before succeeding but I paid once. 2. Each time you take the written test you pay $10 so the price remain the same no matter how many times you take. You will need to present your state ID and if not a citizen you will need to present your permanent resident card along with any out of state driver's license you have had if any. You will also need at least 2 pieces of mail from your current address to determine proof of address and your birth certificate and or passport if applying for the first time and if married a certificate of marriage. Your SSN is also a great document to have on hand. And you will need to do a written test costing $5 or $10 along with the cost of the application $35 so remember to have some cash in hand.

Sorry, but there's an expiration date on your license for no reason I'm just saying. For future reference it's always best to go to the DMV website versus going to Google Maps. I normally find all the answers on the DMV website hope this helps
