Alight Tempe is an absolutely phenomenal apartment complex. From the general manager, Laurene, to the maintenance workers, EVERYONE is so kind and wonderful. I definitely had a fantastic experience living at Alight Tempe. I guarantee that whoever is reading this would also have just as amazing of an experience living at Alight Tempe. If possible, I would give them 10 stars instead of just 5.

There was minor damage to the walls in my room. As of right now, there is an ant problem where they have been coming from a little hole in my shower windows and I would like to have this fixed asap because it has gotten out of hand now they have gotten into the carpet, especially when it is not my fault. Other than that the unit was pretty clean, however it’s concerning to have no type of secured environment when the gates are always broken. I feel unsafe when I see people dumpster diving on the property and the “security” don’t really do their jobs.

If I could turn back time, one thing I'd do differently is not sign a lease with Alight. I'm truly disappointed by the management of this sad building. Not only does it look like a prison but it feels like one too. Everyday I am inconvenienced by the poor service this building has to offer, from the elevator being broken for days at a time every other day and the amenities being in an entirely different building. The inconvenience is not worth the price. Trust me, invest the $100-200 extra a month to live somewhere that actually cares about its residents. I never leave reviews but I feel as though its my civilian duty to warn my fellow colleagues who are considering this as their new "home".

I currently live here now! The only nice portion of the apartment is the office main area, expect everything else in your apartment to be not as the model shows. Hallways are filthy and trash is left for weeks on end. Grounds are poorly kept! Upon move in, there were bugs…and the cleaning was close to poor. Stairways smelled like someone died in them. The WiFi goes out constantly.

It's my understanding that you do indeed need to be a student to live there (Source: don't live there, but asked friends who do)
In that case I believe they require advanced payment of 1.5months, which will be credited in the last 1.5 months of the lease term (half of june and whole of july will be free)
