I just had liposuction on my tummy and hips 2 days ago and the whole experience from start to the day of was absolutely amazing!! Dr Popp is pretty straight forward and will tell you all the outcomes and what he feels would work best for you .. I love that he gave me a hand written quote instead of emailed like other trendy places the staff and nurses were absolutely amazing!! Im just in aaah of everything that was done.. i checked out multiple places here in Omaha and i felt like they were just getting me in and out quick popp took his time on answering all my questions and going through all the pictures of patients he has worked on and his work is amazing im day 2 post op and i am truly amazed with his work i can’t wait until im fully healed.. I recommend coming here before going anywhere else!!

Dr. Popp is very cool but also very helpful, informative, and easy to talk to. I would love it if all doctors were like him! I never felt pressured to make any decisions. He is there if I decide I need him.

The entire staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The front desk staff are always nice and will help with anything. The nurses know how to answer every question and will put your mind at ease before surgery. And Dr. Popp was amazing! He goes above and beyond to answer any questions and to help you consider surgery with a very personable approach. I was very nervous before my life changing cosmetic surgery but it was so easy to say yes after a consultation here. I have never been so happy with the results. The prices are fair and the results are picture perfect. I could not recommend them enough!

Questions & Answers

What is liposuction?

Dr. Popp said the gold standard of liposuction is called tumescent liposuction. In this process, areas of the body are numbed using local anesthesia. Small punctures are made in the skin with a needle, which injects a solution to break down the fat. With local anesthesia, patients are able to be fully aware and awake during the procedure. They can walk around on their own after their surgery. People who are seeking liposuction to fix obesity issues are bound to be disappointed. Dr. Popp explained that even if he performs liposuction on an individual that is obese, they would still look it even after the procedure. “Liposuction originally came about to fix small areas that were diet and exercise resistant. That’s what it’s meant to fix,” said Dr. Popp.

What is Exilis?

Exilis is a non-surgical skin tightening and fat melting device that uses radio frequency energy transmitted through a little hand piece into the skin or the fat space. This energy heats up the collagen and shrinks it, thus tightening the skin. Essentially, Exilis heats up fat and causes it to melt away. Dr. Jeff Popp says Exilis isn’t necessarily a replacement for liposuction, adding that “it takes a lot of treatments and the degree of fat reduction is very small. You would probably just use it for a really small area.” He said Exilis is perfect for those who have had previous liposuction or a facelift a few years before and want a refresher or a touch up.

What is a facelift?

When you hear the word “facelift,” what comes to mind? Would you assume a facelift includes your eyes or your forehead? Do you believe a facelift would improve your crow’s feet or smooth your eyebrow area? If so, you wouldn’t necessarily be correct. “In lay person terms, a facelift should be called ‘a lower face and neck lift.’ It only addresses the lower third of the face and neck and then there are subdivisions of that,” said Dr. Popp. Some of those subdivisions include a pure neck lift or a mini facelift, which focuses on the lower third of the face and does not include the neck. Facelifts address many issues including jowls, cheeks, the jaw line and the neck. “The eye area and the forehead are not part of a facelift. These procedures can be done with a facelift but are not part of it,” explained Dr. Popp.
