Pools are open for sure I'm still here now. But the catch is the pool at MGM Grand is outside. The perk is if you join m life for free you can go to any of the mgm hotel chain from luxor to bellagio and access their pools if you feel like a indoor swim just an Uber or Lyft ride away.

It's because teamsters don't work directly for the MGM or any hotel for that matter but management does. If you have ever been involved in a campaign or a strike you would see management still has to come to work while the teamsters.or any union workers don't.

You need $100 for incidentals each night of your stay they will hold/approve for use on your first day of stay. So it your staying 3 days. The will place a hold on $300 at check in. They will release that part on checkout. It may take up to 72 hours to go back on your card. I suggest you use one card for you staying you'll be fine. I'm sure you can use multiple cards if you choose.

Generally speaking shows are back at the MGM, but not all of them. Ka, for example remains closed until June (all the Cirque shows are aiming for July 4th opening). Jabbawockeez is open but limited seating & limited nights per week. You can buy liquor in a half mile radius of any room in vegas. There liquor stores all over the strip, and each hotel has at least one 24/7 store, selling liquor in various sizes and snacks/light meals. The current special is buy 2 cans if any beer/wine. Get a shot free. Comes out to about 12 to 15 bucks to catch a decent buzz in vegas. Most rooms have fridges. I've found that the "run of house" rooms are less appointed, but according to housekeeping, they would rather not have food rotting away, and so 98% have fridges. If yours only has a gap next to the sink where the fridge should be, ask for a different room

The MGM Grand Pool complex has several pools onsite to completely lose yourself in 6.5 acres of highly energetic atmosphere. Wet Republic has 2 salt water pools, but it's an adult only area. There are several black out dates for the pools which a revamped grand opening of some areas in March. Check the MGM website for updates and booking services or ne of the 26 x 8 people Cabana.

At the Aria recently they had a $150 per night for 3 nights! I asked for an alternative because I travel with debit, not credit. It was a question that prompted a 15 minute wait during consultation($) with management. They settled for $300 lump sum, instead of 3 x $150? Whatever, right? I tried to charge an overpriced pizza and beer to my room since I had a bank hold on that for them anyway? It was declined, cashier screen said CASH ONLY!!! Yes, I did come unglued and will not be back!

Most travel website account for black out dates for there own, but if talking about a credit card thing with miles and such, you would need to call those directly. I am in Las Vegas now, and was for the unfortunate events here. All hotels with the exception of Mandalay Bay are open. The south strip opened back up already. Most cancelled shows are now back on schedule. I would still call each hotel you want to stay at to confirm before booking and not book any shows until you confirm they are back on schedule. Many Vegas employees and family were involved in the shooting and many venues are short staffed so their employees can take care of thier families.
