How much do you need to have available on your credit card when checking into a room? Can you use two different credit cards when checking in?

You need $100 for incidentals each night of your stay they will hold/approve for use on your first day of stay. So it your staying 3 days. The will place a hold on $300 at check in. They will release that part on checkout. It may take up to 72 hours to go back on your card. I suggest you use one card for you staying you'll be fine. I'm sure you can use multiple cards if you choose.

You'll need at least $100 a night that you're staying plus any incidentals that may arise. It's best just to make sure you have enough credit on one card in case they don't allow you to spread it over two.

We had a pre authorization of $400 for our 4 night stay at The Mirage. I would say it's safe to bet appx $100/night pre auth will be placed on your credit card

We stay at the Excalibur it was pretty much for the night at least over $200 but it sure has a beautiful view at night very enjoyable

I had the full amount for the number of days i was staying there on my card. I'm not sure if you can use 2 credit cards because they ask you to have the card you reserved the room with. I hope this answer help you.
