If you want to drive a truck this company will help you out a lot to accomplish your goal. No only that they will continue to support you.

Prime is very accommodating to members of the armed forces and veterans!
Prime does not care. Prime does not pay to some drivers therefore there is NOT quality control
Call them give them the dates they will know who he is we are a very family oriented company.
Absolutely email me gor details and i can get you in touch with the best recruiter and dispatchers!!!
Yes! We offer a variety of different opportunities including Over the Road and Regional truck driving jobs in each of our transportation divisions. (Refrigerated, Flatbed, Intermodal, Tanker). Learn more here: https://driveforprime.com/drive/
We would ask that you please call our Safety Department at 417-866-0001 to provide all details about this incident so we can determine which driver this might be and address appropriately. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. Safety is our highest calling!
Yes. They have you take list your place of residence as their hotel for the purpose of taking the test and getting your Missouri cdl. Then the next time you go home to Alabama you simply take in your Missouri CDL and pay to get it transferred to an Alabama Cdl with your home address. It's about $80. But trust me you will make that and more once you're running solo.
Yes, They load $200 on2 Comdata Card once you get your CDL permit & PSD Badge that Fri @ 5p. U can w/draw via cashback option at checkout register at the Walmart down the street on Glenstone Ave. I used my moneygram to send $150 home 3wks in a row. U must pass & receive permit in Springfield by Fri or they send students home on GH by 7p Fri. Prime & all the major carriers receive government vocational funding to provide CDL Training just like any other school, Roadmaster/ community colleges. Recruiters don't fully qualify B4 arrival. They book seats to meet grant requirements. This is why they are quick to send people hm & heartless at it. That being said, Prime's PSD "on pad" driver training program IS BEST imo/Idk bout otr but it's fasttrack, so if you don't master say backing, Even before you test out, students are sent home-Before testing out date. Must hv permit 14 days b4 testing out. Ull wait for trainer, that's standard. U test out quicker on pad
Yes, and good luck in your endeavors to find a financially sustainable career. F.Y.i.; Prime INC can help!!!
It's all your choice based on availability. Nobody makes you lease or be company
An affirmative answer to the questions regarding criminal record will not automatically result in the denial of employment. An applicant’s criminal record will be evaluated based on the job for which the applicant has applied. Give us a call at 888-664-9121 to speak with a Recruiter or apply online at www.primeinc.com to see if you qualify.
Through the Prime Training Program, you will start with a Class A Permit from your home state. You will take the CDL Exam at one of our testing location, and once you pass, we will send your scores electronically back to your home state. You will then be able to obtain your Class A CDL in your home state.
That depends! Company solo drivers are compensated differently than other types of drivers like independent contractors and company team drivers. Learn more about driver compensation here: https://www.primeinc.com/drive-for-prime/pay-benefits/
With our Prime Training Program, you will train with your permit for typically 2-3 weeks before you are ready to take your CDL Exam.
We offer CDL training at our terminal locations in Springfield, MO, Pittston, PA, and Salt Lake City, UT.
Prime will pay for your transportation to our Springfield, MO; Pittston, PA; or Salt Lake City, UT location to start your orientation. If you pass your CDL exam on the first try, we’ll give you a $250 bonus. After you pass your CDL exam, you’ll continue training with a driving instructor and can expect to receive a minimum of $700 per week.
If you really have the truck number and you want something done about it call prime inc. In Springfield and they will take action with driver
They are really great about getting you home when you need to especially if its something that big and if you give them plenty of heads up
Your recruiter will email you a link to pay the fee. If you do not see it, give your Recruiter a call to discuss. Sometimes, yahoo/hotmail accounts will send our emails to your spam/junk folders. Give us a call at 888-664-9121, and we can help you out!
My hubby has been there 12 years and never any problems, you sound very shady to me
Yes they will, but be sure to explain the whole situation to the recruiter and don't hide anything. The background check is very thorough. Some of the places they carry for and deliver to have some additional restrictions so it may occasionally get you passed for a load from what I am told but another one will come right back around pretty quick. (But there are some things they will say no to I'm sure. I don't want to promise they take everyone with a past. I just know they have a pretty forgiving recruiting policy-and again dont hide it be upfront if they find out and you didnt tell them even if they would have let you they will now never hire you, it's all about trust)
Go online to www.Primeinc.Com and look for non driving jobs
Yup. I'm from tidewater
Downstairs on security desk are the business cards with #'s on it
Only if you're lease or owner op last i knew only freightliner ,international, peterbuilt
You're asking random people about a random issue with zero details for them to base an answer on.
Jim Guthrie is the Director of Refrigerated Operations. Stan Auman, Jaime Ely, and Jason Seymour are Refrigerated Division Operation Supervisors as well, and they all oversee the Fleet Managers. If you would like to speak with one of them, call the main line to ask for them by name at 417-866-0001.
Been driving for prime for 2 years now. They have good equipment, they can get you a load anywhere so you won't sit for days waiting for a load, and they treat you like family.
Hi Austin! We have caught up on our truck inventory so wait times are back to normal. Give Success Leasing a call at 800-491-1240 to discuss current wait time (if any) and truck availability.
Hi Cody! If you have at least 6 months of recent OTR or regional (5 states or more coverage), you would come in as an A Seat and do orientation and then get into your own truck.
Hi Brian! You can come in with your CDL from your home state, and you will not have to transfer it to MO. In the past, we used to have an option where people could get a MO permit and MO CDL and transfer it back to their home state through our Prime Training Program, but we discontinued that process last year. If you have any other questions, let us know. 888-664-9121
They have schools for u to attend I don't know about motel but I'm sure they will accommodate u
Aaron Johnson I run 72 and get 7.5 miles per gallon with 42,000 in the wagon.
Generally once you pass Pre Trip and Skills, and you have your CDL-A issued by your home state in hand, you will attend Orientation which goes about a week, after that you will be set up with a TNT trainer and be required to complete a minimum of 50,000 miles of team driving. Already having the CDL allows you to bypass the PSD phase of training.
100%. Even if you had a current medical card, they still make you go through their physical and get a new one. So 100% no problem. Prime is amazing. I have been with them for 1 and a half years. For instance, I have been rehired by them after being there for 10 months then having to take a month off. So my medical card was not only through them to begin with, but only 10 months old. They still made me go through a physical and get an updated one.
They are upstairs toward the front of the building. Basically any open door you can use it. If you bring your own towels I suggest you do, but they have towels hanging up. There's no time limit it's basically first come first served. The doors will be wide open for open ones. Doors shut mean someone's in there so dont knock or try opening a door. They have bunk rooms too, also free for 12 hours. You need to speak to the laundry dept for a bunk. They are the very first door on the corner between the showers and laundry room. If no rooms are available you'll see the sign attached to the door you knock on. If your unsure just ask someone they'll help you most likely.
Good morning! You must have a valid, United States regular driver's license for at least 12 months prior to joining Prime.
I believe currently starting pay is 50cpm for solo reefer. That's is not including performance or safety bonuses. They are extra. There was a recent 1cpm increase
You have to go to one of the main hubs to do training but I do know they will bus you to the nearest location to do the training
There is a refundable pet deposit for company drivers. There is no pet deposit for independent contractors. If you have any questions, call Recruiting at 888-664-9121.
Do you have any proof of this??
62 for company and lease 65 if your company your governed at 60
Call the number on the web sight and ask a recruiter. Like John said. Be honest and go all the way back with your record. They definately look beyond 7 years. Honesty is the best policy no matter what was done.
You can call the number from the website and tell the operator that you need to do just that. They will pass you through to the safety team. Describe the event and give all the information you have like trailer number or truck number so they can identify the person accurately. However date, approximate time, and general location can be used to narrow it down so long as there was not multiple drivers in the area at the time. If they can't identify the individual driver they still take the complaint seriously and will send a message to all drivers regarding what happened and explain that it would be unacceptable and how or what they should have done to avoid doing it or making that same mistake. Keep in mind that their policy is all discipline is private so you will likely not get a follow up. But trust it will be taken seriously and handled by their policies and laws as well as appropriately and speedy. Prime prides itself on its reputation and it has a good one for a good reason.
Yes they have compay drivers and walk away lease. Also tractors are automatic. Flatbed, Refrigerated, and Tanker division's.
See https://driveforprime.com/train/student-driver-training-program/ They do provide boarding but your only upfront cost to start is $155
Yes but I would never drive for Prime inc again unless I wanted to live in Springfield for some crazy reason.
It takes ruffly 5 months to finish all training. If you decide to go lease. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. you have to buy loadlocks chains. Detention stamp. Abloy locks.. A lot of stuff to buy. And several classes to take. Lease is where the money is at. During your training period. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. My wife and I saved 3 thousand dollars. And was able to buy. Pretty much everything straight out.
72% of the linehaul or up to 49 CPM for company drivers. A lot of companies do a lot worse for their drivers.
Once I was finished with my tnt and was on the waiting list for a truck (lease) they covered the room I payed for food...I waited 6 days because I wanted a new truck not used so the wait was longer for me vs someone that will take a used truck. I stayed a day after getting my truck and wasn't charged. Pretty good company
You do not have to wait to do 30,000 miles you can do it as soon as you get on your trainers truck if you can plan it with your trips that's exactly what I did
Solo Company Driver Starting Rates: .44 cpm refrigerated in a full-size truck .49 cpm refrigerated in a lightweight truck .46 cpm flatbed .51 cpm tanker

You could probably try again, but if you couldn't pass the permit test. maybe truck-driving just isn't for you, not trying to be mean but it's not for everybody.
She's amazing...she's my daughter and does train n just got a new truck. This is her 2 ND one. It's red n she's also a promoter of Picasso gang . She's been a trainer for 5 yes. I love the air she breath's..
You have to do a whole nother permit test I did the same for Georgia they do not accept any other but Missouri
Once you have been assigned a recruiter you should stay in touch with them.
I averaged 2300 take home a week over 8 weeks
Ive heard they have shorter contracts for military families. I would ask your recruiter for more information
They can accept your CDL on a case by case basis, however you still have to test just like everyone else in the PSD Program. Just learn their way and forget what you know before Prime Inc.
I switched divisions flatbed to refer. They took my truck and put me with a trainer. Cleaning expenses was all I had. I seen a few going lease but stayed in that division, they were able to lease the truck they had. I was in training so I had no expenses. It does seem to be a smooth transition to lease. The leasing department defer the first truck payment into a year, a little at a time. They split the next week, and the third week is the full payment of your truck. Down time depends on your division and the available trucks. Also depends on what you want for a truck. If you keep the truck you have I wouldn't think that your down time would be long. You will take a few classes and do some more CBT'S. My wait was about a week, due to truck availability and the weekend. Overall I think it went fairly well. If you're going to look at getting a short term lease, be prepared for the possibility of needing to get stuff fixed on your truck.
95% of the time yes. Have been here 3 years and even during the slow freight days my dispatcher keeps me rolling. The only time I wait on trailers is trying to reload from home in Florida where we dont do a lot of business or from the yards where there is so much competition since every driver needs a load there can be more drivers than loads. But it's never a long wait and my check has never been affected by waiting when I had to unless I was in Florida.
I go into Jersey City and cross the GW a lot, so maybe they don’t go into the boroughs but pretty darn close
Yes to my knowledge, you will need to complete their TNT Training Before Upgrading To Your Own Truck.
The SIM room at the campus usually but sometimes an assigned classroom
No. You must present All originals. 3 peep from my class sent home for Not receiving marriage license, social cards and/or Birth certificates by Friday
I only had a careless and I had to wait the 3 years for it to fall off my record before anyone decent would look at me
