Call the number on the web sight and ask a recruiter. Like John said. Be honest and go all the way back with your record. They definately look beyond 7 years. Honesty is the best policy no matter what was done.
Honestly it just depends on the charge. Just tell the recruiter the facts and don't hide anything they do a good background check. Like Mr. Mahley said call the recruiter they would know what would be a disqualifier. But again I stress just stick to the facts, not any "I was innocent" or "wrong place wrong time" things. Just "I was tried and found guilty for ______, I did my time and learned from my situation now I'm looking to the future. With a past charge of ______ can I be given a chance to start and grow in your company?" If they say no ask if it's a permanent no or if there is a time in the future you can reapply, some have like a 2 year wait. Good luck! Stay positive with them. The biggest things they look for is honesty, integrity, and team personality. That's what you have to convince them you have.
